The 10,000-lumen brightness output helps ensure big-screen presentations with extra presence, even in brightly lit rooms.

Image quality is boosted by Sony's Reality Creation technology, which uses a pattern-matching database to optimize low-resolution images, enhancing clarity without increasing digital picture noise.

Sony's Intelligent Setting function is engineered to simplify installation with presets to optimize brightness, cooling, color, and other projector settings to provide clear images in nearly any environment, including meeting rooms, classrooms, museums, entertainment venues, and multi-screen setups.

With lens shift adjustment and a variety of interchangeable lens options, you can install the projector in nearly any space, including classrooms and halls with high ceilings. A short-throw lens is also available for positioning the projector close to the screen to avoid ceiling-mounted obstructions.

The laser light source provides up to 20,000 hours of operation without lamp replacement, reducing maintenance needs when compared to lamp-based projectors. Brightness is also maintained through the light source's lifespan.

The VPL-FHZ101L/B is suitable for integration in A/V environments with popular control, monitoring, and management systems like Crestron Connected and Extron XTP Systems.

Seamlessly join color-matched images from multiple projectors for super-sized displays in corporate and education environments.

Enjoy enhanced projector position flexibility thanks to the generous lens shift range.

The projector features a flat-top surface to help it discreetly blend into nearly any space when it's mounted to the ceiling.

Store and recall up to six settings for projected image size, position, and aspect ratio, saving time in different environments. This feature exclusively works with the VPLL-Z4111 lens option.

A variety of lens options let you customize the projector to suit virtually any size room and throw requirements. A quick release bayonet mount helps simplify lens exchange.

[29 x 29 x 15"] This was a move up from an Epson 5030ub, so bulb based 1080p to native 4K laser is quite the jump. I’m projecting on a 135” budget 1.0 gain grey screen and the colors, contrast and brightness are spectacular. I sit about 14’ away and the detail and sharpness of the image is so much better than what I was used to. I love that Epson for what it is but this is in a different league. Having only had the projector for a couple of weeks, I’m still playing with different settings and testing various 4K media with my Oppo so still have to spend more time with this to really get to know it. The only con I’ve noticed so far is it can crush some black detail in difficult scenes but I may be able to tease out some image with some adjustment tweaks, not a deal breaker for me but worth mentioning. Also, my old projector was supposed to have a similar lumen rating and had about 900hr on the bulb but this is significantly brighter. Haven’t put the laser past 60 (50 is default) and won’t need to unless I am keeping some lights on in the room. Last thing is it is much quieter than the old Epson and is mounted right above my head so that is also a big plus, hope it stays this quiet.

[3-Chip 1" LCD] I bought this to replace my Sony VPL-PWZ10, that wore out its laser. This was a comparable projector, with a few upgrades. Most notable was the contrast is much improved as is the picture clarity. B&H offers the best purchase experience. I order it on a Friday afternoon in Colorado, and they shipped it on Monday, and I got it on Tuesday. It was a pleasure to deal with a reputable company after ordering it from another company and waiting 2 weeks.

[1] This is my fourth projector. It is by far the brightest and best contrast projector of all.
I especially love the remote. It is designed so that a person like me that is not a trained set up person can navigate.

[1] We've installed the Sony in our church which struggles with loads of natural light. It replaces an older lamp projector and is much more vibrant with better colour and does a great job.
