Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. On the website, Polaroid claims I can run 600 film in an SX-70 with the the flash. Is this true?

A: While I am not certain what you might've read, it is likely the opposite, as 600 film is much more sensitive to light than SX70 film (ASA 640 vs 160). Polaroid themselves recommend an ND filter for SX70 cameras using 600 film so as to not overexpose the 600 film: https://bit.ly/3Jc2aXr

Q: 2. I have a Polaroid 690, and the original discontinued Polaroid film created gorgeous vibrant color saturated and sharp images. Every re-release of the Polaroid film I've tried over the years claims "authentic" Polaroid color, but it's just washed out and shifted to green/yellow. Does this film really live up to original gorgeous Polaroid color?

A: The following is a reply listed on the manufacturer's website in their "Information" (FAQ) section: When Polaroid wound down their analog instant photography business in 2008, a number of chemical suppliers that existed solely to provide Polaroid with chemistry for film production went out of business. And over the course of the last decade some of the chemistry used in film production became unavailable for commercial use. The Impossible Project faced the challenge of reinventing analog instant photography with the chemistry available, and over the past nine years has been gradually improving the processing and quality of instant film. So while we still aren’t back at the 5 minute development time (yet!), that you may remember from back in the day, the new Polaroid color film is the best to come out of the Enschede factory since Impossible took it over in 2008 - with improved sharpness and definition, development time down to 15 minutes and the same quirky, magical Polaroid aesthetic that people have always loved.

Q: 3. Can this Polaroid 600 film pack be used in a Mamiya RB67 pro S model II Polaroid film back ?

A: I am sorry the Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film does not fit into a Mamiya RB67 pro S model II Polaroid film back. The last to make film that fit was by Fujifilm and it is discontinued.

Q: 4. Is there any Instax film I can put in a Hasselblad Polaroid bag by any chance? Kind of like Fujifilm fp100c....

A: The Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film (5-Pack, 40 Exposures) is not compatible with the Hasselblad Polaplus 100 Polaroid Film Magazine. This film back only takes instant peel-apart film or pack film, which has all been discontinued. Also, there are no Instax film types that can replace it.

Q: 5. I want to be clear that the battery is in the film pack as it was with the original, correct?

A: Yes, the battery is in the film pack.

Q: 6. Can anyone confirm that this film will work in an old Polaroid 100 Land Model Camera?

A: Sorry, it won't work with a 100-series Land Model camera. You'll need 100-series packfilm.

Q: 7. Will this 600 film work in a Vivitar Slide Printer?

A: Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film will not work in a Vivitar Slide Printer. It's an instant film for Polaroid 600-series cameras.

Q: 8. can you use i-Type film on the SX-70 camera?

A: The i-Type film is only for the i-Type cameras but you can use Polaroid Color SX-70 Instant Film (8 Exposures) BH #POSX70CLRFLM • MFR #6004 for the sx 70 cameras.

Q: 9. Does this film work wit the Polaroid One600?

A: Yes, the Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film is compatible with Polaroid 600 OneStep Cameras.

Q: 10. Is this capable with Supercolor 635CL?

A: No, the Polaroid Color SX-70 Instant Film is not compatible for use with the Polaroid Supercolor 635CL Instant Camera. If you need a compatible option, the Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film (8 Exposures), B&H # PO600CLRFILM, would instead be recommended for your usage needs.

[640] The product was, of course, excellent quality, but I cannot get over just how fast it shipped to me! Great protective packaging, too. Highly satisfied and will be getting all my film from B&H.

[640] BHP polaroids are amazing & they're super fresh. I recently got a polaroid for Christmas from my girlfriend. I didn't know how to use the camera, but it should have been straight forward. The problem was with the films — I'm not sure what it was exactly, but I think they weren't fresh. I was happy to purchase polaroids from BHP and take photos that will last a lifetime.

[0.19 lb] It's great that this technology has made a comeback. Honestly, I don't have much to compare this film to in terms of the older Polaroid films, at least as far as side-by-side comparison is concerned, but it seems to do the job of making a fun and usable image. I'm using this with the Polaroid Now (not the +).
