A: Not hard at all. Just download the free CPS software from Motorola and purchase a RMM2050 compatible CPS cable (Motorola specs part #HKKN4027, available from many online retailers including B&H). You have to have a Windows computer or Mac running Windows in bootcamp/parallels/etc. The app is a web-app that runs in your browser. Connect the radio via USB, follow the instructions, and all the settings are selectable from drop-down menus. When done, click to store to the radio or save for later if doing multiple units. Took about 10 minutes for the first one to learn everything and 2 minutes or less each after that. I had no previous experience programming radios, so it was easy for a beginner.
