Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a Manfrotto 755MF3 tripod with a 804RC2 ball head. Will my ball head (804RC2) fit on this travel tripod? Also, will this tripod support Nikon D500 with Sigma 17-35mm f/1.8 Art Lens?

A: The MeFoto legs will work with the 804RC2 when its own head is removed. Due to the larger size of the 804RC2 pan-tilt head, it is likely that this combination will not fold into its smallest size with that head attached. The combination of the GlobeTrotter legs, 804RC2, D500, and Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens will work very well. In our estimation, the next best upgrade for you would be to either use the head that comes with the GlobeTrotter or to consider the Manfrotto Xpro 3-way pan-tilt head.

Q: 2. What is the maximum length of the monopod?

A: The total length of the of the monopod is approximately 67".

A: It should work.

Q: 4. is the central column removable?

A: Yes it would be, it is easy to do by just unscrewing the bottom and it pulls right out.

Q: 5. Replacement tips

A: The original replacement feet for the MeFOTO GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod Kit (Titanium) is not available any longer. This MeFoto feet will work, but it is not the exact same width as the other feet, so you may want to buy three of these to get the three of them to look the same. https://bhpho.to/2LpewBA

Q: 6. Will this tripod support Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z 600mm f/6.3 S telephoto?

A: Yes, the MeFOTO GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod Kit (Titanium) will support a Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera with a Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens (Nikon Z).

Q: 7. Why is the carbon fiber Titanium colored option cheaper in price?

[1.6 oz / 45 g] I use no other sights. I see no use in tritium except as a money-making gimmick. If it is too dark to see your sights, how can you tell you are targeting a threat? These sights have a very large and very bright dot on the front sight. The two dots on the rear sights are off-white and smaller. Your eyes can't help but focus on the front sight. The front dot is very visible in very low light. If you can verify you are facing a threat and are justified to shoot, you can see this sight. Save your money and buy ammo and train. I am 51 years old and continue to use only these sights on uniformed duty as a deputy sheriff of 21 years. They are strong metal, and sit low on my Glocks. There is plenty of light on each side of the front sight when viewed through the rear sight. Give them a try and leave the gimmicks. These are excellent sights for hard, active duty use or protecting your home, or just shooting fun. There are no better sights made.

[1.6 oz / 45 g] Sights are being used on a Glock 19, and they work beautifully. Easy to read and very durable. Nice large dot on front sight allows for easy and accurate target practice. Very affordable as well. Overall a great set of upgradable replacements for the stock plastic sights.
