The tan Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic for Shure Wireless Transmittersis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Shure MXW1 and MXW1/0=-Z11 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. I just bought a Letv Le1 pro x800, it's the second phone of the company. It works on EUI, an operative system whose base is Android. Does anyone see any reasons why the mic wouldn't be working on this phone??

A: Unfortunately without testing the units we would be unable to confirm, however from specs available, the unit features a TRRS jack for headphone/mic and should work properly.

Q: 2. i saw that there was a mounting bracket could that be used on a dslr?

A: I think you may be talking about the rode video mic micro.

Q: 3. Could the flex mount be removed to mount on cameras instead of phones? If not, would there be any downside to cutting off the flex mount so it could fit?

A: Hi Caleb, no the VideoMic Me won't connect direct to cameras as the connection is a TRRS plug designed for smart phones. The VideoMicro is essentially the same microphone but designed to sit on-camera. a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183909-REG/rode_videomicro_compact_on_camera.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183909-REG/rode_videomicro_compact_on_camera.html/a

Q: 4. how do you attach to an iphone 7 plus?

A: Forget about this. Its impossible. This mic is vailable only for iPhone with mini jack

Q: 5. Does anybody have any experience with using the video mic me with apps like FaceTime or phone calling?

A: I use it for Periscope, worked great....

Q: 6. Can I use this with my smartphone (galaxy s5) as a hands free device for the car? The phone is already paired with a fm Bluetooth device.

A: This mic plugs into the earphone jack, and once plugged in I would expect to get no sound from the phone as the phone will think that you are using earphones. I would suggest either asking Rode or you phone provider.

Q: 7. Will the RDE VideoMic Me iPhone Shotgun Mic work on an Apple iPod Touch?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. Will it fit on a galaxy s6 active

A: Yes

Q: 9. Several people have asked the question about using on a dslr. I would love to use this on a dslr because it has a headphone monitor and line out. My dslr doesn't have a headphone out. This device would almost solve the audio monitoring issue that most cheap dslr's have( no headphone jack out). I know that it wouldn't be the gain controlled audio from the camera but just the raw audio coming from the mic but it is better than nothing. So, It seems like this mic would work just fine for dslr, but I wanted to be 100% sure if the jack on the mic that is TRRS(the kind with the extra ring in the connector, not just a regular TRS jack) would work with a dslr camera? Does the mic need the extra ring for power?

A: Hi, you won't be able to plug this mic (with TRRS connection) into a DSLR (with TRS input). You could use the SC3 adaptor, but you will have nowhere to mount the mic to the camera. It really has only been designed for smartphones, not DSLR cameras.

Q: 10. how do you attache to an iphone 7 plus?

A: The plug goes into the headphone jack and the little plastic clip secures to the edge of the phone.
