The black Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic for Line 6 Wirelessis a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP12 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How does it work when phantom power is needed and there are multiple cameras conected ready to provide phantom power?

A: The Whirlwind PB06 Passive Press Box with 1 Line in to 6 Mic out has a line input. It does not take phantom power, or send phantom power and neither do camera. You would connect your condenser mic to a mixer that has phantom power and go from the line out of that mixer into the Whirlwind PB06 Passive Press Box with 1 Line in to 6 Mic out and from the XLR outputs on the Whirlwind PB06 Passive Press Box with 1 Line in to 6 Mic out, you would go into each of your respective cameras, or audio recorders that have XLR line input.

Q: 2. what is the warranty period on this earbuds?

A: This product has a two year, limited manufacturer's warranty.

Q: 3. With a requirement of 4 xlr-m and 4xlr-f, what breakout harness do you suggest for analog audio?

A: At this time, we don't carry the compatible breakout cable you'd need for four (4) XLR male and four (4) XLR female analog audio connections on the Digigram ALP442e-MIC Multichannel PCIe Sound Card with 4 Mic/Line Inputs. For your reference, the SKU/part # for the breakout cable is DIG-SC2422A0301.

Q: 4. Does Klark Teknik CM 1 pass phantom power to mic? Does it employ Ground Lift to prevent phantom power reaching mic?

A: When using the Klark Teknik Mic Booster CM-1 In-Line Microphone Preamplifier, phantom power would not be passed to a connected mic. Regarding a ground lift, Klark Teknik doesn't specify if one is used inside this booster.

Q: 5. Is the item compatible with the Canon 6D?

A: DSLR Compatibility: The ACH4-25MON is compatible with DSLR cameras that feature a 1/8 unbalanced mic level input including: Canon: EOS Rebel T2i(550D)/T3i(600D)/T4i(650D)/T5i(700D)/SL1(100D) EOS 60D/70D/7D/6D EOS 5D MK ll/MK lll EOS 1DX/1DC/1D MK lV

Q: 6. Can I use this to add a headphone jack to my Panasonic G7 to monitor audio?

A: Yes you can. That is a cable to go from line level to mic level. Used so you can plug the output of a line level recorder out. Into a camera at mic level in. With a headphone jack.

Q: 7. Would this be able to hook line out of zoom H6 into mic input of another recorder (h1n or computer) for a back up recording of zoom h6? Or can you just use a regular 3.5mm aux cable? Thank you!

A: Yes, you can use the attenuator cable to connect the line out from the H6 into the mic input of another recorder. If the second recorder that is being used for the backup recording accepts line level input signal, then you can use a standard 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS aux cable. As an example, Zoom's H1n accepts mic and line level through its 3.5mm TRS input. Just check the specs for the audio inputs on your backup recorder to be sure of what type of signal it accepts.

Q: 8. Is this cable compatible with the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera?

A: This splitter cable is compatible with the Black Magic Micro Cinema Camera, if you do require a female headphone tap as well as an output from a digital recorder. But be aware that the camera can accept a line level signal into the 3.5mm input, so the attentuation to mic level is not necessary.

Q: 9. will this be good for video recording, i.e. piano music?

A: The MX153 does feature 2 mic inputs however is designed primarily for permanent installation in paging applications.

Q: 10. how do the se535 compare to the se215 earphones?

A: To me the se535 is the best sounding earbud I have ever used. I listen to my music at no less than 44k and up to 192k. I get the fullness and quality of sound better than I ever have. Unfortunately everyone is different. Some people claim to not hear the difference between an MP3 and HD music. So if that's the case you probably wouldn't notice the difference in the earbuds either. For me though I highly recommend the se535. Good luck.

[Black] Countryman makes a great microphone. I have had 12 microphones in operation for over 3 years and I have had to replace one unit after all this time. What makes this great is I did not have to replace the whole microphone, I just replaced the cable and it works like new.
