The light beige Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Audix Wireless Transmittersfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Audix Wireless Transmittersis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does anyone know what the transmitter mic wiring is? I tried using an ECM77 from my Sony wireless pack and it didn't work - so I'm assuming it's not the same. Has anyone tried a mic wired for Sennheiser? It's a great product but the included mics are huge! I ailed Saramonic but they said I'd have to try it myself to see if it would work.

A: The Rode Lav with the Micon connection works great with these for anyone looking. Price is good and they sound fantastic.

Q: 2. can you include free waterproof case with two lav mics?

A: The case is not included, but for an additional price I would recommend the SKB iSeries Waterproof Case for Sony UWP-D Two-Channel Wireless Bodypack Mic System (Holds: URX-P03D & Two UTX-B03), BH #SK3I09074BH3.

Q: 3. Can this be used with cellphones? like, can I connect it to the Note 9 for example and use it and microphone for vlogging?

A: No it cannot be connected directly into a cellphone. The voltage requirement is greater than a cellphone can supply: Power Requirements: +3 to +10 V

Q: 4. Just curious...will a Saramonic wireless transmitter (freq 530MHz for example) work with a Sennheiser receiver set to same freq.?

A: No, you typically can not mix different brands of wireless transmitters and receivers, so you would not be able to combine a Saramonic transmitter with a Sennheiser receiver, even if both are set to the same frequency.

Q: 5. Can the Saramonic UwMic9 work with the Sony Fx6?

A: Yes, you definitely can use the Saramonic UwMic9 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System with the Sony FX6 camera.

Q: 6. Can anyone confirm if this system combines the two lav signals into a mono signal, or if you can output each lav to a discrete L or R channel?

A: When using one lav, if you set the receiver to mono, it will send the signal to both left and right channels. When using two lavs and set the receiver to stereo, it will send each mic to a discrete left and right channel.

Q: 7. Does the receiver keep both lav mics on separate channels (so that one can easily pull and edit one mic audio on its own channel) or does it mix them up together?

A: The output mode of this wireless system can be selected to mono or stereo. When the output mode is mono, the audio from left and right channel will be mixed. When it is stereo, the left and right audio channel output will be separated. The system default is mono.

Q: 8. Can I have more than two transmitters with one receiver?

A: This is a dual receiver system that can be paired with only two transmitters.

Q: 9. Hi, there. I wanted to use this mic kit as comms are they stereo out?

A: The output would a dual mono.

Q: 10. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.

A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.

[Light Beige] I love these, I have been using them for a decade. They are very versatile: hair worn, over the ear with a purchase or home made rig or as a lavalier unit. Great response and clarity and very durable.
