Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this mic work with other transmitter packs other than sony? Looking for a cardioid lapel mic for Saramonic packs.

A: The Sony ECM-X7BMP will only work with the Sony UWP wireless systems. We currently do not carry any cardioid lavaliers for saramonic wireless packs. As the brand gains popularity, it is possible other manufacturers may decide to make a solution for saramonic transmitters.

Q: 2. Are there tie clip alternatives that secure to the actual lavalier instead of the cable for the lavalier?

A: We do carry some universal lavalier tie clips which should work with this microphone, such as BH #AUAT8417.

Q: 3. How do these hook up to the sd 633?

A: The Comtek M-216 features a 3.5mm line input. They offer the CB-36 cable which will allow you to connect from one of the XLR outputs of the Sound Devices 633.

Q: 4. I have a UTX-B2 transmitter and need to purchase another mic. Will this one work or if not can you tell me which will? I don't want to spend $250.00

A: This lavalier is compatible with your SONY bodypack transmitter . It offers the requisite 1/8 locking 1/8 mini connector. Here is another compatible choice as well: Sony - ECM44BMP Electret Condenser Microphone... B&H#SOECM44BMP

Q: 5. Will this work with the Rode Wireless Pro? Thanks!

A: You can use BH #DEDA35 with the Deity W.Lav Pro to connect it to the Rode Wireless Pro. The transmitter in the Rode Wireless Pro will provide up to 3.3V of plug-in power.

Q: 6. What is the transmitting distance for this unit? Are there any receivers that use an external power supply rather than a 9v. battery?

A: Up to 300 feet.

Q: 7. Why does Deity's own website state Max SPL is 110dB yet the BH site states SPL is 130dB? Is this a mistake?

A: According to Deity, some microdot connectors allow for higher SPL ratings for the Deity Microphones W.Lav Pro Omni Lavalier Microphone (Black).

Q: 8. Can I use this with microdot adapter that supplies 5-8v? Is that too high for this mic, given stated 2.5-3.3VDC requirement?

A: Yes, the Deity Microphones W.Lav Pro Omni Lavalier Microphone can be used with a Microdot adapter, however, the voltage is supplied by the device that the mic is connected to, not by the adapter itself, unless the adapter has a power supply. For example, the W.Lav Pro can be used with the Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter (B&H # DEDA35) for connection to a wireless transmitter like the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter, which will supply 3V DC to the mic through the input. Please feel free to contact us by phone or through live chat if you would like assistance to select the appropriate adapter for your application.

Q: 9. How long is the cable from the split?

A: The cable for the Deity Microphones Dual-Head W.Lav Pro Omni Lavalier Microphones (Black) is approximately 63" long, including the mics. The length from the mics to the split is approximately 39" and the length from the split to the connector is approximately 24".

Q: 10. Will this work with the Dji wireless mic system with the microdot to trs adapter?

A: We have not tested the DJI Mic wireless transmitters with the Deity Microphones W.Lav Pro Omni Lavalier Microphone but it should work if used with a Microdot to 3.5mm TRS male cable.
