Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this mic be good for musical theater performers?

A: Yes, the Audio-Technica Pro 70 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone can be used for musical theater. The mic is designed for use with vocals or instruments and favors the mid-range frequencies.

Q: 2. How can I connect the Audio-Technica Pro 70 to my Macbook Pro?

A: The Audio-Technica Pro 70 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone can be adapted for connection to a Macbook with an audio interface that offers an XLR input connection. A simple option such as the Polsen XLR-USB-48 XLR to USB Audio Interface (BH #POXLRUSB48) could satisfy this criteria. A more popular option could be found in the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2x2 USB Audio Interface (BH #FOSCARSOLO3G).

Q: 3. does this come with the foam windshield? or do I buy it separately?

A: Mine came with the foam cover. As well as a black Audio Technica zippered bag for the mic.

Q: 4. Can you use this with the Sony PXW FS7 wireless base on the camera,,,,,or do you have to run an XLR to the Camera?

A: The Audio Technica System 10 receiver requires a cable connection to the Sony PXW-FS7. Not compatible with the Sony Multi Interface shoe.

Q: 5. I have a C100 MK 2, was thinking that this would be great to use with a shotgun Mic. Plug one end into the XLR in the upper handle and the other into the XLR on the Mic. This should work well, correct?

A: You would have to plug the mic into the transmitter and the receiver into a recorder, camera or mixer. This is only made for dynamic mic's. So no phantom power.

Q: 6. Can the transmitter minus mic be connected to 2 channel RCA output on a Yamaha Stagepas 300 mixer?

A: No this will not work well to send the line level signal of a mixer, the transmitter take a microphone level. also keep in mind this system has a locking pin connector therefore 3.5mm cables without the correct locking pin wont fully connect causing noise.

Q: 7. Does it come with the receiver as well?

A: This listing is for the transmitter only. It does not include the receiver.

Q: 8. I bought two of these mics. I record a podcast in a car and use these mics. The problem is that it seems that any movement of the mic cable causes feedback in the recording... I don't understand why it is so sensitive. An arm brushing up to the mic cause noticeable audio distortion. any ideas?

A: could be a bad cable, or connection. If same thing is happening with both mics, try either with windscreen on, with windscreen off.

Q: 9. i am a youtuber, would this work with pranks? like use it as a mic with a distant camera and itd record the audio??

A: Unfortunately not. The Audio-Technica Pro 70 is not a wireless mic. It has a standard XLR mic cable. If you want to record audio at a distance from your camera then you would need to buy a wireless system.

Q: 10. Do the two channels into the receiver come out of the receiver as separate channels?

A: It is switchable, so you can have one in each channel (mono) or stereo.
