The mounting hardware wouldn't hold my 37 Sony LCD TV without modification. The tension knob for the down-tilting function isn't strong enough to hold a TV of substantial weight. Instead, I had to remove the bolts and turn the unit upside down (so that what was the the top limit of the tilt is now the bottom) in order to get it to work. I also had to buy extenders for the VESA mount because the biggest spacing it would accommodate is 200 x 200 and I needed 300 x 200.
