[f/16] My beloved Nikon DX 10.5 mm f2.8 fisheye unfortunately cannot be fully utilized with Z system. I decided to try full frame lens and inexpensive TTArisian looked like good candidate.
In first examination of new arrived lens I liked solid metal construction even if I'm not big fan of metal lenses. Also my fist impression of tight focusing thread was very positive, I didn't like aperture ring with no clicks. Lack of incremental, stepped adjustment of aperture is little annoying as it is easy to move ring during shooting session.
Going further with my list of improvements needed for this lens:
- Antireflection layers are not good enough. There is a lot of ghosting, rainbow reflections and some loss of detail because this flaw.
- There is heavy vignetting with closing aperture but, correction in LR easy takes care of this.
- I would love to have this lens with chip to at least read information to camera.

Now positive experience:
- Lens is as sharp as best Fisheyes on the market. Practically all apertures are very sharp.
- Color aberration are so small that I can't find any negative effect.
- Shooting against the light is fantastic with this lens.
- Shooting architecture is an adventure of fantasy.
- Geometry correction in LR or PS allows to make very usable reproduction.

In summary of this short review, I would buy this lens again, it is fantastic tool. With all negative comments I gave, I'm still rating this lens full 5 stars!

[f/2.8] The unusual 11mm FL compared to the usual 16mm for corner to corner fisheyes allows a bit of creative cropping while still providing the fisheye view.significantly it give me room to adjust the horizon, a difficult thing to judge through the viewfinder with a fisheye.

The build quality seems very solid. Details are well rendered. Flare and reflections are minimal. There’s enormous DoF even at larger apertures. I wish it had clicks on the aperture ring but I understand this is a video concern although I would argue otherwise.

The price is terrific. This lens is NOT just “OK for its price”. This is a very good lens. Its only real shortcoming is that it’s much bigger than other fisheyes, and that might be the main compromise that helps to keep the price down.

[Full-Frame] The uploaded image did not publish in the previous review....

Photographed with a Panasonic Lumix S5 in Panoramic Format 2-1 Aspect Radio. The TTArtisan 11mm 2.8 offers excellent colours, contrast & sharp images for an ultra wide lens at this price point.

[7] I'm quite impressed with this little fisheye. I have owned many fisheye lenses, and usually the budget options are ok in a pinch, but falter a bit in terms of absolute quality. This bucks that trend...it's solidly constructed of just metal and glass. It's dense, but compact. Both the focus and aperture rings are very well damped. Image quality is very good to excellent. Sharp in the center at f/2.8, and by f/5.6 it's sharp right to the corners, even on the A7R IV. Good color and contrast. A bit of chromatic aberration, and flare control is overall pretty good, but not perfect. For the price, you can't fault it at all, and performance is well above what I expected.
