The cocoa Countryman E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Low Gain, LEMO 4-Pin Connectoris a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6 earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to Beyerdynamic TS 316, TS 400, and TS 600 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the quick release made of plastic or metal?

A: The quick release on this Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery, would be made of plastic.

Q: 2. Could I use this cable to sync timecode from my Atomos Shogun (that has a LEMO port) out to my Sound Devices MixPre-3 via the MixPre-3's Aux-in port? I have a Sony A7III that's generating the timecode out to the Shogun. So, essentially, this cable would connect to the Atomos Shogun's LEMO port and the Shogun would be sending the timecode out to the MixPre-3's 3.5mm AUX-IN. And if so, will recording be triggered from camera, to shogun, to the mixpre? I know the Sony will trigger the shogun, but can the shogun trigger the mixpre with the aforementioned setup? Thanks!

A: This cable is not appropriate for the Shogun and MixPre. To connect the Shogun to the MixPre, you would want to connect the HDMI output of the Shogun to the Micro-HDMI connection on the MixPre. This will take the HDMI TC from the Sony to the recorder. The MixPre must be set in HDMI TC Mode and will stop and start recording from the camera triggering it.

Q: 3. How after charging the battery turn off for preservation of the charging

A: The Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery will turn itself off automatically. The Titon Base will shut off after a few minutes when it is not connected to the power supply or accessory that requires power.

Q: 4. Will this work on C70?

A: This would work on the Canon C70

Q: 5. Can anyone tell me which cable is needed? I figured this came with everything you needed. Thanks

A: As long as you are powering a device tghat operates with te Canon LP-E6 battery, the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras has everything in the box.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Tera deck?

A: Yes it is :)

Q: 7. Can this also be used while charging on wall power, i.e. using it like a Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler?

A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge, as well as power a camera at the same time with the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras. The kit will not work as a dummy battery coupler when connected to wall power.

Q: 8. Can I use the USB output of the Titon Base to power my Fujifilm X-H2S via USB-C, or should I buy a D-TAP to USB-C adapter?

A: The USB port on the Anton/Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery does not support PD (regulated power delivery). It will be required to get a D-TAP to USB-C PD adapter to power your camera.

Q: 9. are both connectors Pin-1 +VDC? Thank you.

A: If I understand your question, you want Pin-1 to be +VDC. The answer then would come from what power source it is connected to. If that is Pin-1 +VDC, this would be as well.

Q: 10. does this come with the lemo cable to d-tap as well?nothing is pictured, also, how long is the cable? Thanks.

A: Hello DaveNo! A d tap did not come with the cable. I bought the faux battery separately. I already had the cables. Hope this helps Best Justin
