A: This unit might be ok used in obstruction settings, but you would need to adjust the transmission output to 50-100mw depending. Note that doing this will reduce battery life.The transmitter does have an 1/8'' mini audio input for sending line level audio to the receiver. For better reliability, we would recommend either of these two Sennheiser systems: BH# SEEW112PG4A or B&H # SEEW512PG4AW.

A: Hello Amy, thank you for your interest in the Azden products. We studied the Canon Vixia HF W11 and found that the camera is not equipped with a 3.5mm mic input which the PRO-XR requires to function. Therefore, unfortunately, the PRO-XR does not work with the Vixia HF W11.
