The 19.6', red Comica CVM-D02 Lavalier Microphones for DSLR, GoPro, Smartphonesprovides podcasters, mobile journalists, and documentary makers with a cost-effective solution that simplifies recording two-person interviews. It comes with two lavalier microphones that let you record clear and accurate speech directly to the single input of your DSLR/mirrorless camera or audio recorder. It can also be used with a GoPro camera or an iPhone/Android smartphone/tablet that's equipped with a headphone jack.

The microphones feature an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every direction, allowing for a variety of placement options and freedom of movement—even when the subject turns away from the mic. The included alligator-style mic clip holds the mics firmly in place on clothing.

The long built-in cable provides extra length for standing at an optimal distance in front of your camera. It is equipped with a 3.5mm TRS connector that plugs into your DSLR or mirrorless camera. Two adapters are included: one for connecting the mics to your GoPro camera and one with a TRRS connector for connecting to the headphone jack of a smartphone.

The unit is powered via your camera so you don't have to remember to change the battery. The metal construction offers shielding from radio frequency noise, and two furry windscreens are provided to protect your mics against wind noise, even when shooting outdoor. [6.4 x 2.9 x 2"] I use this mic with an old avid mbox mini audio interface for talking to my students through zoom music lessons. It gives a clear sound and it doesn't need much gain for it to give a good talking sound. I'm glad I purchased it. 5

[Bus Power] I bought this as an upgrade from a dual transmitter Azden that I had used for many years. The microphones sound great and I use them in very noisy places and it cuts out the background noise very well. I also like the autoscan and syncing feature that allows me to find the best channels for the location I am shooting at and quickly sync the two receivers to the transmitter. I am considering buying a second one and replacing the Azden altogether. 5

[Bus Power] Full disclosure, I haven’t used these wireless devices on a ‘job’ yet. However, I did test them and I was surprised by the results. The audio is clear and the range was quite good. Even when the subject was out of the line of sight (in different rooms etc ). The real surprise was the build quality. The housings are metal! We’re so used to plastic that anything that isn’t made out of it is shocking. The display is very easy to read and I really like the battery compartment. It sounds like a little thing, but when you’re knee deep in the stress of a wedding and you need to change batteries, it’s the little things that matter. There’s a kind of ‘pinch’ mechanism that allows for quick access to the battery compartment and it locks back in place when the new batteries are installed. Overall, I’d have to say that I’m very impressed with this product. Hopefully, I’ll remain this impressed when I actually put them in service. 5

[Bus Power] I'm a journalist, all my work is published in social media and my own website. For live streaming we use Facebook and Periscope, so a handheld microphone is a must when streaming with your smartphone. This mic is just perfect. I haven't had a single problem with it.
