Add a vertical camera option to your DJI Ronin-SC gimbal with this LanParte L-Bracket Counterweight for Ronin-SCfrom LanParte. The L-bracket enables you to easily switch from a vertical position on your Ronin-S to horizontal use on a tripod. This L-bracket features an Arca-type quick release plate on both its horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Additional plate features include nonslip padding, marking scales, and a lightweight design with cutouts. When mounted, the bracket enables the use of your original Ronin-SC control cable and does not interfere with the gimbal motor or your camera's strap mount. Screw included counterweight onto the plate to ensure proper balance when using a heavier camera or lens. The L-bracket also includes an Allen wrench and mounting screws.

Q: 1. does the Ronin SC work or is compatible with canon eos sl3?

A: The Ronin-SC is aimed at smaller mirrorless cameras and is not an appropriate choice for the a DSLR like the EOS SL3. The Moza Air, BH #MOAIR, which has a 7 pound load capacity would be a better option for that camera. https://bhpho.to/2usZl2g

Q: 2. How does this attach to the Float? It doesn't seem to have an Nato style clamp to connect to the Float crossbar, like the Tilta Battery Plate does.

A: The bracket goes on the bottom of the Float stabilizer using its NATO rail, and it has threaded mounting holes to attach the six included counterweights. These then mount on a center spindle so that they can rotate for better and more precise adjustment...Keep in mind that this mounts in place of batteries, at the bottom.

Q: 3. Will this handle fit the RSC2?

A: The LanParte L-Bracket with Counterweight for Ronin-SC is not listed as compatible with the RS 2.

Q: 5. How securely does the Ronin-SC fit inside this case? I noticed a Ronin-S review mentioned that particular case was configured where the gimbal rested on one of the motors, and then was not included with a strap to secure the unit during transport. Just wanted to ensure this is not the case with the SC case. Thanks in advance!

A: this case is designed for the Ronin SC, the gimbal lays flat in the bag so it will be laying partially on the motors

Q: 6. is this compatible with RSC-2?

A: The LanParte L-Bracket with Counterweight for Ronin-SC can be compatible with the DJI RSC 2 Gimbal Stabilizer if you add an arca accepting assembly for the fore and aft mounting plate. The SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp for Select Handheld Gimbal Stabilizers is an example. See the link below: https://bhpho.to/3wOkaDI But you do not need to use this plate for the DJI RSC 2 Gimbal Stabilizer since the gimbal provides an arca quick release plate for quick mounting to a tripod, and the gimbal has a hinge to go into portrait mode.

A: We're afraid not. Load Capacity is only part of the equation, with the other being the shape of the camera. A camcorder like the Z90v it too long to properly balance on a gimbal like this.

[0.305 lb] It's a great attachment to use for the DJI Ronin S. It opens up possibilities for your setup which is very convenient. For me I use it to attach my phone to the side to play music for music videos or whatever I might I need for without having to reach in my pocket. I have a second one which I use to attach a power bank so I don't have to worry about my camera running out of battery. It's awesome! 5

[0.305 lb] EXTREMELY happy with this for my Ronin SC. Very strong, high quality metal so will last. Functions exactly like it should, plus has mounts on both sides of it so you can attach a monitor/etc, to the side. The finish EXACTLY matches the Ronin, including the thumb screw tightener, looks made for it. But the best part is you can detach the back part of it but leave the base attached to the Ronin and it fits in the case so you never have to remove it! Literally takes 15 seconds to attach the back portion if you want low shots, takes seconds again to remove. And can't beat the price. If you are even thinking about it, don't think, just get it! 5

[Aluminum] I got this for use with a Ronin S and a black magic 6k. It works but you need to get a counter weight also, or at least I did because of the weight of a canon cine lens. I have balanced a black magic 4K with micro 4/3 lens with the standard plate and no counter weight. 5

[0.305 lb] I bought this on a wim after watching a YouTube video on it knowing that my arms have always been the first to go on a shoot. This relieves all the stress from one forearm and spreads it between the two, as it should. Was hesitant on its size that it wouldn't be super sturdy but it really works well. It's definitely designed perfectly to look like it came with the gimbal, as it should. It's a really nice addition to your gimbal without breaking the bank. Sure, its not wood like the small rig counterparts (who cares), but it's smart because it uses the existing mounting points and is easy to setup. Sure, it can't flip the other way easily, who cares when the optimal direction to hold it is up. Good job PGYTech... good job. Only issue that I can see is that although its very smart to use the tripod that comes with the gimbal as the grip, I'd happily buy a package deal that comes with a well design tripod like Ronin's so you can still easily sit the gimbal down when needed. (not a paid review, I just like taking good photos of good products) 5
