This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How is the echo on these microphones? I'm having an issue of shooting in a large space, and the boom mic I use picks up a lot of echo so I am trying to reduce that to get clearer audio.

A: By placing these mics on a person directly, they will pick up much more of the voice and less room noise than a shotgun in a large space.

Q: 2. Can anyone confirm if this system combines the two lav signals into a mono signal, or if you can output each lav to a discrete L or R channel?

A: When using one lav, if you set the receiver to mono, it will send the signal to both left and right channels. When using two lavs and set the receiver to stereo, it will send each mic to a discrete left and right channel.

Q: 3. How do you attach the mic transmitter to your body? Is there a belt clip?

A: Yes, the receivers come with a belt clip. If the subject is not wearing a belt, or if there are costumes involved, there is also a variety of belts available: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?ci=9758&fct=fct_case-type_1494%7ctransmitter-belts&N=4291074638

Q: 4. Can the Saramonic UwMic9 work with the Sony Fx6?

A: Yes, you definitely can use the Saramonic UwMic9 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System with the Sony FX6 camera.

Q: 5. Can I run a total of 4 transmitters with 2 receivers into a camcorder that has 2 mic inputs, since the receivers are designed to work with 2 transmitters each?

A: Yes, you can use two Saramonic UwMic9 dual-mic wireless systems at the same time with your camcorder by connecting the output of each dual-channel receiver to a separate mic input on the camera. This will allow you to use four transmitters simultaneously.

Q: 6. How long is mic to transmitter cable?

A: This lavalier microphone that connects to the transmitter is 4ft long.

Q: 7. What microphone is the equivalent for this set? I have two mics from this kit that I need to replace.

A: The Saramonic SR-UM10-M1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Plug (B&H # SASRUM10M1) is a replacement for the original microphone that is included with the Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System. You can also use the Rode RODELink Lav Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for RODELink Systems (B&H # ROLINKLAV), the Senal OLM-2 Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser EW & Senal AWS-2000 Series (B&H # SEOLM2), or the Sennheiser ME 2-II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Connector (B&H # SEME2II). Any of the lavalier microphones with a locking 3.5mm TRS male connector that are wired for compatibility with Sennheiser transmitters can also be used with the Saramonic TX9 Digital UHF Wireless Bodypack Transmitter.

Q: 8. Does the receiver needs to be plugged in with both XLR to the camera or you can simply use one if you are using only one transmitter ? I'm shooting with an FS7 and I would love to be able to leave my shotgun mic plugged in when only interviewing 1 person.

A: You will need to plug the 2 XLR connectors to the camera.

Q: 9. Looking to film my kid playing sports mic'd up. I am a photographer and I noticed my son talking a lot and I thought it would be fun/funny to get the audio as he never admits to actually talking. I would like to use my Samsung S7 (Phone) as my camera has I have a gimbal for it, but I do have a few other cameras like the Canon 5D4, 6d, 7DII, and 60D.....what is best recommended to get the results I think I'm looking for?

A: This would work for you if you have a place on the gimbal to mount the receiver. You will also need a cable to interface with your phone. The Saramonic SR-PMC1 for TRRS headphone port will work great with that phone.

Q: 10. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.

A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.
