[1/4"-20] I love these tether blocks! I didn't need the quick release one as my tripod does not have that kind of head. I loved that this one was a bit cheaper. I always use the large cable route as I find it makes the cables last a bit longer. I also think these are so much better than the small little cable hooks as those don't really provide the security I like. 5

[1/4"-20] This is an essential piece for tethered shooting. I've worked in studios that do not use TetherBlock and time after time we have to end up sending cameras in to fix tether ports. I want to take off one star because of the price, but I understand it's probably not a high demand part. Only professionals are buying these things. Still I wish they could price these a bit more competitively. 5

[1/4"-20] This plate really gives me peace of mind as opposed to the other solutions. It isolates the cord and removes accidental damage out of the equation. The only thing that you can pull is the USB off of the computer, and that won't do any damage as opposed to a mini-usb or usb-c outlet. Strongly recommend and worth the price. 5
