  • ShowLink technology allows the ADX transmitter to execute an automatic, synchronized frequency change in a matter of milliseconds, ensuring clean, uninterrupted transmission, even in the most challenging RF environments.
  • You can also make instantaneous remote adjustments to your ADX transmitter settings (RF output, gain, mute, and more) when it is difficult or impossible to access the transmitter.

  • The unit quickly syncs with a wireless receiver via infrared at the touch of a button.
  • Automatic Gain adjusts the mic input level for you.
  • The power button conveniently doubles as mute switch, while preserving RF lock.
  • Frequency and power lockout functions prevent accidental or unauthorized changes during events.
  • A backlit LCD with easy-to-navigate menu and controls lets you quickly access frequency, group, and channel settings, along with mute and lock status, RF output, and remaining battery life.
  • Offset function lets you balance mic levels when assigning multiple transmitters to a single receiver slot.
  • Adjustment range: -12 to +21 dB.
  • 2/10/40mW selectable RF output power allows you to increase either the transmitter's range or the number of mics operating simultaneously.
  • Two transmission modes: Standard for optimal coverage and High Density for maximum system channel count and robust coverage.

  • Operates for up to 10 hours at 10mW on an SB910 rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
  • Rechargeable battery offers intelligent power management with precision metering in hours and minutes, and zero memory effect.
  • Can operate on three AAA batteries with the SB913 battery sled (available separately).
  • External charging contacts allow for docked battery charging.
  • SBC220 two-bay and SBC840 eight-bay networked chargers (both available separately) allow for remote power monitoring via Shure's Wireless Workbench software.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is glxd1+ transmitter compatible with glxd4 receiver?

A: No, the Shure GLXD1+ Dual-Band Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (Z3: 2.4, 5.8 GHz) is not compatible for use with the Shure GLXD4 Digital Wireless Receiver (2.4 GHz) - B&H # SHGLXD4Z2, which operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band only. Shure's single-band GLX-D series was discontinued and replaced by the updated dual-band GLX-D+ series. Unfortunately, the GLX-D+ components are not backwards compatible, so the GLXD1+ Transmitter cannot be used with the GLXD4 Receiver. The GLXD1+ Transmitter is intended for use with the Shure GLXD4+ Dual-Band Wireless Tabletop Receiver (Z3: 2.4, 5.8 GHz) - B&H # SHGLXD4Z3 and the Shure GLXD4R+ Dual-Band Wireless Rack Receiver (Z3: 2.4, 5.8 GHz) - B&H # SHGLXD4RZ3. For a bodypack transmitter to use with the GLXD4, you will need to use the older, discontinued single-band Shure GLXD1 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (2.4 GHz) - B&H # SHGLXD1Z2 or you can replace the system (transmitter and receiver) with the new components.

Q: 2. What receiver works best with this base?

A: The Shure MXW1 Hybrid Bodypack Transmitter with Microphone (Z10: 1920 to 1930 MHz) is designed to integrate into a larger "networked" audio system and uses transceivers from Shure's MXW line such as the Shure MXWAPT2 2-Channel Access Point Transceiver (BH #SHMXWAPT2Z10) to communicate with the larger system. The MXWAPT2 feeds a unit such as the Shure MXWANI4 4-Channel Audio Network Interface (BH #SHMXWANI4) for further system integration.

Q: 3. Will the A: 516-558 body pack sync with a G: 566-608 receiver?

A: In order to sync properly, the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (A: 516 to 558 MHz) must be paired with a Sennheiser receiver on the same frequency range, and more specifically, on the same exact frequency. Two wireless components on different frequency ranges will not communicate with each other whatsoever.

[19 MHz] Used with a headset microphone, and also with adapter cord to a keyboard. Transmitter has adjustable gain, so it can be set to match the handheld transmitter also on the same channel. Usually get 10-15 hours per pair of alkaline AA batteries.

[12 dB] Works just as intended on the Shure BLX1 Wireless Bodypack. I saw other belt clips on different websites but none specified that it was compatible with the BLX1 and had a slightly different shape. So I’m glad I got this. Free shipping too on a product under $3!
