Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the receiver compatible with the Sony UWP-D21 transmitter?

A: No, Saramonic UwMic9 wireless components are not compatible for use with Sony UWP wireless components. The Saramonic RX9 receiver can only be used with other Saramonc UwMic9 transmitters such as the TX9 bodypack transmitter that is included with the receiver, the UH9 handheld transmitter (B&H # SAHU9), and the TX-XLR9 plug-on transmitter (B&H # SATXXLR9). Likewise, Sony UWP wireless components can only be used with other compatible Sony wireless components.

Q: 2. Can a 2nd receiver be purchased for a 2 camera set-up?

A: Yes it's a Special Order item. BH #SAUWMIC9RX9 and you must order it in the same frequency block as the one you have or it will not work.

Q: 3. Does the receiver keep both lav mics on separate channels (so that one can easily pull and edit one mic audio on its own channel) or does it mix them up together?

A: The output mode of this wireless system can be selected to mono or stereo. When the output mode is mono, the audio from left and right channel will be mixed. When it is stereo, the left and right audio channel output will be separated. The system default is mono.

Q: 4. Can you tell me which is the transmitters version that you sell on B&H?

A: These are the USA legal versions.

Q: 5. Does the receiver needs to be plugged in with both XLR to the camera or you can simply use one if you are using only one transmitter ? I'm shooting with an FS7 and I would love to be able to leave my shotgun mic plugged in when only interviewing 1 person.

A: You will need to plug the 2 XLR connectors to the camera.

Q: 6. can you tell me which version of the receiver do you sell? (V.2.6 Rel 682101A or V.2.7 795101A) ???

A: We don't seem to have either one. The Saramonic receiver we sell is MFR #UWMIC9RX9. The other numbers you sent don't bring up anything in our catalog.

Q: 7. How is the echo on these microphones? I'm having an issue of shooting in a large space, and the boom mic I use picks up a lot of echo so I am trying to reduce that to get clearer audio.

A: By placing these mics on a person directly, they will pick up much more of the voice and less room noise than a shotgun in a large space.

Q: 8. Can the Saramonic UwMic9 work with the Sony Fx6?

A: Yes, you definitely can use the Saramonic UwMic9 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System with the Sony FX6 camera.

Q: 9. Can I buy the Saramonic UWMIC9 RX9 + TX9 and later on buy and add a TX9? I don't see and option to buy just the TX9.

A: I purchased them all together because it was very an expensive, it may cost you more in the long run but I don't see why not

Q: 10. Can anyone confirm if this system combines the two lav signals into a mono signal, or if you can output each lav to a discrete L or R channel?

A: When using one lav, if you set the receiver to mono, it will send the signal to both left and right channels. When using two lavs and set the receiver to stereo, it will send each mic to a discrete left and right channel.
