The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is cocoa and is hardwired with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It has a standard 3-pin XLR male connector for connection to professional sound systems.

A: This vampire clip for the EMW series mic seems to be the only one they offer currently. Here's a tie clip version that would pinch clothing for an EMW as well BH #COEMWSTCB.

A: DJI lists that the DJI Transmission High-Gain Antenna Set (4-Pack) is made specifically for the DJI Wireless Video Transmitter (DJVDC).

A: Countryman makes and EMW lavalier mic in Black compatible with Sony UWP transmitters. Please refer to B&H# COMEMWPBSN.

Q: 9. What is the maximum distance and does it record ?

A: Not very clear question... It is a microphone and it has the ability, to transform sound into electric signals. To record the signals, you need a recorder, where the mic is plugged in. As it has a omnidirectional capsule, there is no front or behind on this mic. So a directional mic would hear more in the distance than this one does. It is normally used on places where a mic has to be hidden (film, broadcast). Hope this answers the question.

[0.666 lb] I've been using B6 mics for a long time now for film. They sound great and are very easy to hide due to the tiny capsule. I'm not sure DPA and Sanken Cos 11d have been dethroned yet, but this guy is on par as far as I'm concerned--especially considering the ease of hiding it. 5

[Cocoa] As a keyboard accompanist and supporting vocalist, I found it impossible to play my best when glued to a boom mic. I tried wireless but found it clumsy and the sound quality unreliable. Then I found this mic online. Yes, I have to remember not to stand up and walk away when it's clipped on, but it's well worth that effort. This wired lavalier has all the sound quality of a wired handheld and no wireless worries. 5

[1 to 2 V] This is a great mic and much needed upgrade for the Sennheiser wireless kit. A little small and delicate if you are used to the Sennheiser lavs, but sound MUCH MUCH better. 5
