The black Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, TA4F Connectoris a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Lightspeed BP-700 and BP-800 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I take it if there is a switch for record/playback this device probably can’t do playback while recording? I do track recording and normally play previous tracks through headphones while recording and I wondered if this one can do that.

A: You must download a recording application supporting real-time input/output pass-through. Then you are able to monitor the audio during recording.

Q: 2. Can this also be used while charging on wall power, i.e. using it like a Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler?

A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge, as well as power a camera at the same time with the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras. The kit will not work as a dummy battery coupler when connected to wall power.

Q: 3. Does this provide separate power for accessories, as I've been reading about people frying their HDMI port when using external batteries like these, with the BMPCC4K

A: The Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit comes with a lemo 12v cable that will power the Black Magic Pocket camera models. You can connect other products you would like to power to the battery. However this would not damage your camera when in use.

Q: 4. When using an FX-3 is there any “wobble” with the Anton Bauer plate?

A: The baseplate on the Anton/Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery can be unstable at times.

Q: 5. Yes, the battery turn off itself when is not on use but... why after not use I still seeing the percentage that indicates that is still ON?

A: According to Anton Bauer for the Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery: "When the battery is sitting idle (no load is applied) the LCD will show remaining capacity as percentage of full.", "When the battery is powering an item (a load is applied), the LCD will display remaining run-time in Hours/Minutes." https://bit.ly/3ovafOR

Q: 6. Hello is really possible to record stereo? I have tested SmartRig+ with 3,5 connector and adapter 3,5 to lightning. It is possible to record only mono mixed from two channels with this setup. Thanks for reply.

A: Yes, the SmartRig+ allows you to toggle between mono and stereo modes using a switch that is located between the two XLR-1/4" combo input jacks. The switch is labeled with "M" and "S" to indicate mono and stereo operation.

Q: 7. Does this unit have any mounting holes on the back, to attach to a rig if using for microphone input to an iPhone?

A: The Saramonic SmartRig+ Di has a 1/4''-20 thread on the back of it.

Q: 8. For BMPCC 6K Pro, is it safe to leave an internal battery in the camera while plugged into d tap via 2 pin? Also, if the Titon dies will the camera automatically switch over to the internal battery without interruption?

A: If the Titon battery dies, the camera will automatically switch over to the internal battery without interruption.

Q: 9. Which version will work with a Canon R5?

A: At this time we do not have an option with the proper connection for the EOS R5.

Q: 10. Is the quick release made of plastic or metal?

A: The quick release on this Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery, would be made of plastic.
