The cocoa Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, TA4F Connector, Cocoais a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to CAD Audio WX155A wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello is really possible to record stereo? I have tested SmartRig+ with 3,5 connector and adapter 3,5 to lightning. It is possible to record only mono mixed from two channels with this setup. Thanks for reply.

A: Yes, the SmartRig+ allows you to toggle between mono and stereo modes using a switch that is located between the two XLR-1/4" combo input jacks. The switch is labeled with "M" and "S" to indicate mono and stereo operation.

Q: 2. For BMPCC 6K Pro, is it safe to leave an internal battery in the camera while plugged into d tap via 2 pin? Also, if the Titon dies will the camera automatically switch over to the internal battery without interruption?

A: If the Titon battery dies, the camera will automatically switch over to the internal battery without interruption.

Q: 3. Which version will work with a Canon R5?

A: At this time we do not have an option with the proper connection for the EOS R5.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Canon R5 and R5C? I'm reading conflicting things in the Q&A.

A: No, the canon R5 and R5C run off of LP-E6 battery the Anton/Bauer Titon base kit will not adapt to the two following systems.

Q: 5. I am doing a Facebook Live broadcast. I want to run a direct signal from my board, M32r Midas or mr18, into my iphone with a stereo signal. Can I directly from my board to this and thento my phone or is there a better way for pristene sound? Thanks

A: The iRig is going to be the simplest and cleanest method to get audio from your board into your iPhone.

Q: 6. Is the 1/4" input TRS for long cable run from the mixer?

A: No, the 1/4" input is TS for instruments. You can go out from a mixer 1/4" into a direct box than XLR into the SmartRig+Di for best results, or even TRS to XLR cables and then mind the input gain if you do not have a direct box.

Q: 7. Yes, the battery turn off itself when is not on use but... why after not use I still seeing the percentage that indicates that is still ON?

A: According to Anton Bauer for the Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery: "When the battery is sitting idle (no load is applied) the LCD will show remaining capacity as percentage of full.", "When the battery is powering an item (a load is applied), the LCD will display remaining run-time in Hours/Minutes." https://bit.ly/3ovafOR

Q: 8. How after charging the battery turn off for preservation of the charging

A: The Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery will turn itself off automatically. The Titon Base will shut off after a few minutes when it is not connected to the power supply or accessory that requires power.

Q: 9. Can I use the USB output of the Titon Base to power my Fujifilm X-H2S via USB-C, or should I buy a D-TAP to USB-C adapter?

A: The USB port on the Anton/Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery does not support PD (regulated power delivery). It will be required to get a D-TAP to USB-C PD adapter to power your camera.

Q: 10. Can this also be used while charging on wall power, i.e. using it like a Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler?

A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge, as well as power a camera at the same time with the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras. The kit will not work as a dummy battery coupler when connected to wall power.

[Cocoa] I have been using the single ear version for years, but recently wanted to give the double ear version a try. After receiving these two, I have to say I cannot believe I waited so long to go dual ear. There is literally zero movement of mic when wearing it. No more bending the mic or using medical tape to hold it on the face (yuck!). Fantastic mic and I love the dual ear version.
