A: Yes, in order to achieve a solid white color, you would need to place two lights in front of the background and make them at least 2 stops brighter than the light on the subject.

A: Not small enough to fit into a standard suitcase. It is about 30 inches in diameter. Weighs about 5-7 lbs. Isn't packaged to be travel friendly

A: This Impact Collapsible Background is mostly opaque.

A: There are straps on all sides and a loop at the top. You can hang easily hang it vertically or horizontally. The trick is learning how to fold it up. I found a video on YouTube that shows how to do it and with 2 or 3 practices it is easy to fold up. It is nice addition to a portable studio set up.

A: The skirt is part of the background, its all one piece.

Q: 7. Has anyone found a smart way to fly with this?? I've checked it with just the bag it comes in but it's getting a little beat up so I'd love a padded sleeve at least. Asking for a friend.

A: If you're looking to add an extra layer of protection within the case, I would personally recommend a heavy duty (flattened) cardboard box or corrugated shipping pads, which can be found at any office supply store. It won't add significant weight and can help shield the backdrop in the case.

Q: 9. How do you fold the screen to the smaller size carry bag? The link in the manual is dead. The product video does not show it.

A: To fold the Impact Collapsible Background (Chroma Green, 8 x 10') hold opposite edges of the backdrop keeping it vertical in front of you. Then pull the frame in an upward motion making a taco like shape. Simultaneously twist one edge down and towards the center while pulling the opposite edge up and inward. At this point the frame will bend into a figure-eight shape. Continue twisting and gently lay the two overlapping circles onto each other.

Q: 10. What would be the ideal stand/clamp selection for this?

A: I basically just lean the backdrop against the wall for all location shoots.
