Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this amp be used in a home theater setup?

A: It can, if your home is sufficiently large. The amp is designed for speakers up to 300W (most home theater speakers don't go above 100W, which would fill a decent sized living room with sound.) So the GX3 would work, but you also may find it overkill (and if your speakers are too small or rated at 16 Ohm, you may blow your speakers if you turn the amp volume up too high.)

Q: 2. HI. I want to 202vf head for 220vac. Where can I found it?

A: The operating voltage would be dependent on the power pack which the head is plugged into. The following link shows the Speedotron power packs which we offer that are 220V compatible and will accept the 202VF flash head. http://bhpho.to/1Ta63j7

Q: 3. Would these work with the aputure 120d ii gel holder ?

A: No, you would need to get larger gel filter kit like 10x12 or 12x12

Q: 4. What speed ring do you need for the IL2500 heads to adapt to impact sort boxes?

A: Chimera Octaplus Speed Ring for Norman IL2500 BH #CHSRONIL2500 • MFR #2260OP

Q: 5. Will this work with a Latitude 5411?

Q: 6. I have a Norman 400B that I purchased about 10 years ago. Now, the battery will no longer hold a charge. Can I get just a replacement battery and are the new versions compatible with the older 400B?

A: Norman has not changed that in a very long time. This is the battery for the Norman 400B,Norman 812863 NiCad Battery for P400B, B&H # NOB400B MFR # 812863.Best would be for you to check with Norman to make sure your specific model has not been changed.a href= http://normanlights.com/contact.asp target= _blank http://normanlights.com/contact.asp./a

Q: 7. will this flash mount up to my canon 7d mark ii or do I need a kit and if so what kit is it?

A: Due to the weight of this head, it would not be ideal to mount it directly to the hot shoe of your 7D Mark. You would be better off using a flash bracket such as the Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Bracket for 35mm Cameras B&H # STQF350. You can then add an adapter like the Kupo Mini Ball Head with Hot Shoe Adapter B&H # KUKG010011 to the bottom of the flash head which will slide into the cold shoe of the bracket. Please see the images below.

Q: 8. What is the color temperature of this bulb?

A: This lamp would have color temperature of 3000 Kelvin.

Q: 9. Is it genuine and what is the place of the industry

A: This is genuine original Dell product and country of origin would be China

Q: 10. Will these work with Aperture Al-M9 Lights

A: Yes.

[5-Stop Range] This has been the most reliable and most versatile flash kit I have owned, and I have the old 2000D, P4000 XT, and 20/20 powerpacks, and this is by far the best. I use it in industrial environments, studio, medical facilities, and manufacturing facilities - anywhere a commercial photographer has an assignment. It has always carried me through the harshest conditions, never needed repairs, and provides enough light for most situations. It is easy to clean up too. When I need more light than that, I go to the old P4000 XT, and that is plenty. The D24R is one powerpack I will buy again when one of the others decides to quit for good. The built in Pocket Wizard is great as well.

[4] The best power pack Norman has ever made, I love it. I have been a Noman user for 30 years and when my last old power pack died in the middle of a job I freaked out. But B&H worked with me to have one delivered 2nd day which saved my job. Thanks.

[23.5 lb] I have two sets of these and have been using these since 2005 for On-location Family, SR and Wedding portraits.  They are reliable and sturdy.  Ive replaced the internal batteries 2X but I love the dependability of these light.

[5-Stop Range] I have been using 4 of these packs for years. (Bought my first P2000D from Bill Norman in 1980-and it still works!) Outstanding repeatability shot to shot. Probably the best pack out there irregardless of the money. Compares favorably with packs close to $10,000! Norman is not as well none anymore. It is a shame.

[5-Stop Range] I have been using these for years and don't plan to change any time soon. Oh yeah they are expensive and there are better (more modern) units out there for the money, but I have learned to rely on the Normans because of the predictable lighting.

They just work... There are no TTL, HHS, Bluetooth or other fancy bells and whistles to get in the way. Maybe that's why they are so rugged and reliable.

To use these you must be in Manual Mode meaning that you have to know your Guide Number(GN) and flash-to-subject distances. I keep a small chart of ISO/Power/Aperture and distance taped to the flash itself. In most indoor situations, you might only need to set the Power Pack to 50W, but outside you might need to set the PP to 200W which is the maximum, or use the more powerful 400B kit which can go all the way up to 400W .

In any case, the light is great, much better than on your usual speed light. With the White diffusion dome that can be purchased separately, you can achieve Studio Light quality on the go !

[2400 Ws] These work great for outdoors and weddings. The battery is a little heavy but the lamp makes up for it because it is so light and compact. The batteries charge in about 2 hours and you are ready to go. I use these as an extra light when shooting large groups, or formal portraits. The quality of the light is so much better than regular speed lights. There are no complicated bells and whistles and computer generated aids to help you light a subject so you need to know your guide numbers and F-stops. This is old-school lighting not ETTL or Automatic features. However, you can get a small sticker to tape on your flash head that gives you the range based on aperture/ISO and distance from Norman, or make one yourself. I have other portable flash units but this is as close as you can get to Studio lighting hands down.

[16 x 16 x 12.5"] I use this primarily for weddings and promotional shoots. It puts out great lighting and works well with my other forms of lighting. It also gives me the opportunity to expand with two more heads. Highly recommend this to all photographers.
