The Kirk LP-69SG Replacement Lens Foot for Canon IS III RF Lensesfrom Kirk LP-69SG Replacement Lens Foot for Canon IS III RF Lensesreplaces the lens foot of select Canon IS III and RF telephoto lenses by screwing directly into the lens collar mount with stainless steel bolts using the included T-hex wrench. The lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps and heads, and the double-dovetail design allows other Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot.

Made of 6061-T6 aluminum, the foot has a baked-on, textured Sure Grip Coating applied onto the standard black anodized handle that improves handling capability. It features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod threads and also a QD Quick Disconnect socket for use with compatible straps and harnesses. In addition, the base uses safety stop screws to prevent the lens from accidentally releasing when the clamp it is in is partially open. Additionally, the lens hood can be reversed for storage with this replacement foot mounted.

[0.58 lb] Nikon doesn't supply a lens foot that is Arca compatible, so it you have a RRS ball head you need this. I was going to get the RRS version but it was out of stock and the in stock Kirk is less money. I think it is every bit as good as the other RRS gear I have.

[0.58 lb] Very impressed with the quality and price point. I also like the additional length to help balance the camera/lens.

[QD] I bought this for my new Nikon 500mm PF ED. solid foot that is easily removed or installed.

[QD] I have both Arca-Swiss and Manfroto tripods and monopods, so I was looking for a way to have a way to quickly switch the different mounts. The Kirk foot is much better than the one that came with the 500mm f/5.6 PF Nikon lens. The longer Arca-Swiss mounting plate makes adjusting the center of gravity on the tripod very easy, and it can double as a handle to carry the lens. All in all, a wise choice.

[QD] I bought this for one reason, being a more substantial/integrated mount. The added benefit of it being much larger was a really nice surprise! Even though the 70-200 mark II is significantly lighter than the old version, it is still nice to have a large handle attached to the lens if you aren't mounted to a tripod. Kirk also integrates a QR mount on this if you are equipped with such a monster on your strap.

[Aluminum] This is a very high quality replacement foot for the Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF, with Arca Swiss grooves for attachment to a quick release clamp without any additional lens plate. It fits very snugly and securely with no detectable play, and appears more rigid than the original Nikon foot. Would highly recommend.

[Yes] Nikon still cannot figure A/S... But Kirk knows what needs to be done and does it right.

[0.58 lb] This foot is excellent! I bought the Wimberly AP-612 and it was a pile of junk. I’m so glad I found this one instead.
