A: The SLR Magic 8mm f/4 Lens has a Micro 4/3 mount, so it cannot fit the Fuji X-T1 directly nor can it be adapted to fit.

A: This lens was not designed with IR shooting in mind.

Q: 5. How does this compare to the rokinon 7.5mm. I shoot a lot of interiors and correcting the fisheye can get annoying. Is the sharpness on pair with the 7.5mm fisheye lenses? I alway shoot on a tripod and usually am at F5.6 or F8

A: The main differences between these lenses are feature-based. The SLR Magic 8mm f/4 is slightly less bright in low light and a bit longer in length versus the Rokinon 7.5mm f/3.5 Fisheye. Also, the SLR Magic offers a larger knurled focus ring for easier use with a follow focus system.

Q: 6. Has anyone compared this lens with the Kowa 6mm f1.8 C-Mount?

A: The SLR Magic 8mm f/4 looks like a modified C-Mount lens but the Kowa 6mm f/1.8 has a wider field of view and is sharper.

Q: 7. Will it fit on the Sony A7R 2?

A: You will need an adapter, and you will be cropping very heavily. The final image will probably be around 12MP.

[Nylon] I own several C-Mount lenses including the wonderful Kowa 6mm f1.8 which is awesome on the GH5. I decided to finally buy this lens, which looks very much like a C-Mount ultra-wide but has an M4/3 mount on it. It covers both the GH5 and BMPCC 4K!! I also tried it on my Sony A7iii using Clear Image Zoom and APS-C mode together and I get great results. 5
