The Flycam Quick Release Adapter Plate for Camera Mountingincludes a camera plate and a baseplate with 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the bottom. The baseplate can be attached to a wide variety of camera supports to provide quick release functionality for your camera. It can be attached to virtually every type of support from small rigs to large. The quick release plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws, allowing you to attach cameras, ball heads, and other accessories. It also offers a safety pin for supporting cameras.

The quick release plate is tightened into place on the baseplate via a lever on the side. When the lever is loosened, the plate is prevented from slipping out by a safety lock, which you can release by pressing a pin on the other side of the baseplate. The Quick Release Adapter Plate is made of black anodized aluminum for durability.

The phenomenon of conflict with the tightening key will not be a problem with our quickrelease plate because it is a ratchet knob which allows you to reposition as you want. [1.18 lb] The hook that comes with the cheaper Flycam vests is terrible. This on the other hand works awesome! Solid build, press down to disconnect. I fly my c500 mk II with heavy lenses and it's been nice. 5

[1.18 lb] Quicker and feels safer than the J hook. Also buys you a little height since it's not as long as the hook. You can always add a Ball Stud to the standard hook if you know how to drill and tap threads. Best of both worlds 5

[1.18 lb] This is a great way to smoothly handle my Canon C100 Mark ii camera. I tried a smaller motorized gimbal with my DSLR camera and lost patience with getting it balanced and the extra tech that's required. I like the hand-held look but the weight of the C100 camera, over time, makes it difficult to keep steady. Just the FLYCAM stabilizer and a mounted camera is heavy, but the vest makes it effortless. It's doubtful someone could support the camera and stabilizer alone for any length of time without a Herculean arm. After quickly balancing it, I walked around, through doorways, and climbed some stairs to test it out. It was so smooth that the video just glided with barely a notice of my movements. I even ran into something while shooting and it was hardly noticeable. Planning to use this a lot! 5
