The cocoa Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, TA3F Connectoris a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix RAD360-BP wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use the USB output of the Titon Base to power my Fujifilm X-H2S via USB-C, or should I buy a D-TAP to USB-C adapter?

A: The USB port on the Anton/Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery does not support PD (regulated power delivery). It will be required to get a D-TAP to USB-C PD adapter to power your camera.

Q: 2. Will the Anton Bauer Titon Base (14V DC output) work for bmpcc HD (original) since it accepts only 12V input. Thanks

A: Yes, you should get the kit that includes the power cables. Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit for Blackmagic Design Pocket 4K/6K with 2-Pin Connector and LP-E6 Dummy Battery https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1596781-REG/anton_bauer_8275_0130_titon_base_kit_for.html

Q: 3. Will this work on C70?

A: This would work on the Canon C70

Q: 4. What's the difference between the lightning vs the 3.5mm ?

A: The SmartRig+ with TRRS can be used with smartphones and cameras with 3.5mm inputs, well the lightning version: SmartRig+Di is made for iPhones and iPads with a Lightning input.

Q: 5. Can you use this for audio input on a live-stream?

A: Yes, the Saramonic SmartRig+ Di can be used to connect microphones and/or instruments for live-streaming audio.

Q: 6. Can this also be used while charging on wall power, i.e. using it like a Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler?

A: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge, as well as power a camera at the same time with the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras. The kit will not work as a dummy battery coupler when connected to wall power.

Q: 7. Can anyone tell me which cable is needed? I figured this came with everything you needed. Thanks

A: As long as you are powering a device tghat operates with te Canon LP-E6 battery, the Anton/Bauer Titon Base Kit for Canon LP-E6-Powered Cameras has everything in the box.

Q: 8. Even though it is not listed in the information for the product, but will this work with the direct outputs of the sound devices 442?

Q: 9. Does this provide separate power for accessories, as I've been reading about people frying their HDMI port when using external batteries like these, with the BMPCC4K

A: The Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit comes with a lemo 12v cable that will power the Black Magic Pocket camera models. You can connect other products you would like to power to the battery. However this would not damage your camera when in use.

Q: 10. Does anyone know if it is possible to send a Line Level signal into this unit?

A: Absolutely YES. It has XLR & 1/4" combo and 3.5mm inputs, so for line-level choose the 1/4" or 3.5mm inputs and use the level controls to dial in the level you desire.
