[Metal] This flash drive gets the data nice and quickly. I wanted a handful of thumb-drives I could rotate to keep some web- projects backed up. I carefully open the bubble so it makes a pocket. Cut down the package so it's as tall as as a 3x5 file-card. Label the thumb-drives A, B, C. Put twist-ties on the thumb-drives to make them easy to pick up. Store the drives in their packages, in an index-card box. Now I can back my stuff up on impulse, and that's a good feeling. 5

[256 GB] In a media production environment it is always nice to have a few USB drives on hand. We have been buying this unit because of its small physical size. It doesn't have any unnecessary parts extruding from its housing that would prevent it from being used in tight spaces or where other devices plugged in around it might bump up against, preventing it from inserting...like SanDisk Cruzer drives do. So we buy these units instead. 5

[6 x 3.95 x 0.3"] Simple and reliable, I have several of these and have never had a problem. Personally, I prefer the solid cap-less design over the retractable or swivel ones. While not intended for long-term storage, I have nevertheless kept photos and documents on these for years as a secondary backup, and have never had issues. Of course, I use quality hard drives for primary backup. 5
