The black Countryman B3 Omni Lavalier Mic for 10BT & 41BT Transmittersfrom Countryman B3 Omni Lavalier Mic for 10BT & 41BT Transmittersis a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to older 10BT and 41BT Azden wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with TELEX Systems? 1 line to 3 using branch box?

A: Yes, the PortaCom B3-2000 Branch Box can be used to connect additional systems from manufacturers other than PortaCom, such as those from Telex.

Q: 2. Just received this Benro B3 Ballhead. I want to use this with the Wimberly Sidekick. The 360 panning is extremely stiff. Is there any adjustment available for this??

A: When I rotate my B3 on the panning axis, I can feel some dampening. For use as a ball head, I do not find it excessive. With that said, I cannot whip the head around like lightning. It wants to turn at a constant, and controlled speed. In other words, no jerky stop, starts, or pans. Imagine a panning video camera.. Perhaps, there is too much dampening for your purposes. I am not aware of any friction adjustment for the panning axis.

Q: 3. Can you use the Samson Go Mic Mobile during a Facebook Live stream?

A: yes. One word of warning. its a 10 mW transmitter Its on 2.4 GHz . Physics 101 its the microwave band. so its 100% line of sight. if you have *nothing* between the RX and TX its a very good mic . the moment you put body mass between it the thing is useless . lav belt packs are made for the back on your belt ect. It was unusable facing the cam 20 feet away! . the hand mic as its in front might be OK. Still the fact it was blocked was a deal breaker. had I known it was a wimnpy 10 mW of RF then I would have never bought it . I ended up buying a VHF pro-88 It does get a tad fuzzy at 100 Feet away but with in 30 feet its super solid. 150 mW RF and as its analog its nor a sudden drop off .

Q: 6. How do I turn the battery box on?

A: To power this system up, plug the power supply of the receiver box into AC wall power, then flick the "power" switch button on front of the face. Two AA batteries must be installed into each of the belt pack transmitters. Gain for each mic can be adjusted on the corresponding colored knobs on the front of the receiver box.
