Supports HEC (HDMI Ethernet Channel), which consolidates video, audio, and data streams into a single HDMI cable. It provides signal quality and convenience of HDMI connectivity, as well as the power and flexibility of home entertainment networking. It incorporates a dedicated data channel into the HDMI link, enabling high-speed, bi-directional networking at up to 100 Mb/s.

Supports HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), which enables a TV, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio upstream to an A/V receiver or surround audio controller. This increases user flexibility and eliminates the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection.

Supports HD resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160) in sharp, vivid deep color with up to 8 channels of embedded digital audio. It is tested and certified up to HDMI Category 2 (340 MHz). It has high-quality 28AWG copper conductors to deliver a pristine signal.

The multi-layer shielding protects signals from EMI (electromagnetic interference), and the proprietary Mono-LOK technology provides a secure HDMI connection.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this suitable for Ultra HD TVs? As it says 1080p signal transmission. and does it need to be amplified over this distance?

A: If you mean 4K TV then i doubt it. A short 10.2 Gbps cable (HDMI 1.4) will allow 30fps at 4k but not 60fps.If you mean 1080 HD then yes it will carry it the 50'.For 4K you would need to use an HDMI fiber cable to go that far, they need power but come with the power supply. Full resolution and frame rate for 4k needs about 14Gbps, so you would need an HDMI 2.0 cable which I believe will handle up to 18Gbps.

Q: 2. Is this cable one of your best for connecting my brand new MacBook Pro 16" to my TV?

A: Yes it is. Should work admirably.

Q: 3. Is this cable TAA compliant?

A: The C2G C2G10412 is not TAA compliant.

Q: 4. is there higher quality HDMI cable than this which supports higher resolutions like 10k or even higher?

A: After checking further, the highest supported resolution I can find on our currently listed HDMI cables is 8K.

Q: 5. Does this item support 60p at 4k 10 bit color?

A: Yes it does. There is enough bandwidth for 10-bit and 12-bit color at 4K at 60 fps.

Q: 6. I have a 15' HDMI Mini to HDMI A cable. Can I put it in 1 end of a coupler and this in the other end of the coupler and then have this going into a Black Magic Ultra Studio Recorder? If so how bad will signal or quality loss be?

A: Like any HDMI connection, anything above 35' is only possible. Not guaranteed. A coupler may work perfectly fine, but 100 is quite a lot. It may work very well, or not at all. A poor quality signal is unlikely. If your source is very strong it may be good. Most of us in the business consider 50' to be the realistic maximum.

Q: 7. What type of connector do these cable have? Is it 2.0 or above?

A: The iFootage High-Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet (26.2') supports up to 3840 x 2160 UHD 4K Resolution, HDMI 2.0.

Q: 8. Is this a mini HDMI?

A: No. It is standard HDMI.

Q: 9. Just bought a LGOLEDB7 & Denon AVR-X2300 (HDCP 2.2). My question is this Gefen HDCP 2.2 compatible. Will i get the best results using this as my in between of TVAVR CABLE? Thanks & HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

A: This is an excellent cable for your installation. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant.

Q: 10. Will this connect my Nikon d7200 to Macbook Air with thunderbolt ports?

A: This is a HDMI cable meant to transfer video-signals to display devices, such as monitors or capture cards. Macbooks (and other laptops in general) do not accept video input without a capture device. Furthermore, neither end of this cable will fit in a thunderbolt, thunderbolt 2, or thunderbolt 3 port.

[0.325 lb] I have a full camera rig setup for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k. The dual swivel on both ends of this HDMI cable makes it ideal for cable management, especially when the HDMI port for the field monitor is on the left side and the monitor it is mounted to the left of the camera/lens. You can wrap the cable flush against the surface of the monitor and don't have to worry as much about damaging the HDMI port on the camera or monitor if the cable gets accidentally jerked. I have several of these cables now. One runs from the camera to a 4-port powered HDMI splitter and then from the splitter to the viewfinder, focus monitor and wireless transmitters.

[1x HDMI Male] 2 HDMI cables were ordered. The first shipment had one that was damaged on the connection and unusable. Customer service quickly agreed to send a replacement immediately. It arrived a few days later (no need to return the bad one), and was fine. No extra cost involved.

[1x HDMI Male] I picked up a couple of these cables from B&H for my 7 on-camera monitors. Being able to bend the cable right where they come out of the camera and monitor makes the cable run nice and neat, and doesn't put any stress on the ports. They work great and are a great value.

[6' / 1.8 m] These cables are extremely well made and sturdy but are designed specifically for Gefen products with the way the locking screw works. They provide an extender screw for each end in a small plastic bag so don't throw it out by accident. Once that is added to the connections it works great.

[6' / 1.8 m] I got this cable to replace one that died. My television has inputs on the side so standard cables would stick out - the swivels provided some flexibility in placement and they seem to work great!

[4096 x 2160] I hate HDMI. It is probably one of the worst for video things since s-video. That being said, these cables from Gefen work great. they are high quality and the Mono-LOK helps to take some of stress off of the HDMI port and ensures that it won't come unplugged. I with more devices had receptors for the Mono-LOK
