The cocoa Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic for WisyCom Transmittersis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to WisyCom MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with EOS R5C?

A: Yes, the EOS R5C will work with the Canon DC DR-E6 coupler.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with 5d mark IV?

A: Not only did I check: I own it and use it with my 5D Mark IV without any problem at all!

Q: 3. Will this battery work for my BMPCC 4K w/o a grip. I'm having trouble finding just the batteries for the camera. Hopefully this is the one !

A: Yes, Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K takes any version of the LP-E6 batteries. Blackmagic Design LP-E6 Battery is a replica of the Canon original LP-E6 lithium pack therefore is fully compatible with camera.

Q: 4. For the 5D Mark III, I found the battery door needs to close for the camera to turn on. How have you used the coupler with the battery door since there is no space for the coupler wire to close the door? Or have you taken off the door, in which case, how did you depress the trigger so that it would recognize the power source and turn on.

A: There is a tiny rubber slot in the front of the camera (on the grip, where the end of your pinky finger sits) that opens up, allowing the dummy battery cable to run out.

Q: 5. Can I use this off camera on a boom?

A: Yes you can use it on a boom, I recommend buying a 3.5mm extension cord in order to run the cable back into your camera/recorder.

Q: 6. Does it works for Canon 5D mark3? Does it has decoding chip inside?

A: There is no decoding chip in this battery adapter. However, we must admit not knowing of any such chip in any such adapter. So that we may be of further assistance with your question, please email us at provideo (at) bhphoto dot com.

Q: 7. I do not see a hole for the power cord on the 5D Mk IV - guessing I need to a slight door modification?

A: The opening for the power cord on the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera is covered by a rubber flap on the edge of the battery door (located on the inner side of the camera grip).

Q: 8. Does this have a voltage regulator in it? I want to plug it into an Arri Alexa 3 pin which outputs 24-27v. IOW can I use a higher Voltage battery as the source such as a V-Lock (14.4v)

A: This dummy battery does not have a regulator. If you'd like to use A mount or V mount battery for continuous powering, please use it with LanParte Battery Pinch. The Battery Pinch is voltage regulated and offers several powering jacks with different voltage outputs for different gears. Please check out LanParte VBP-01 VBP-02 VBP-03(for V-Mount) or ABP-01(A-Mount)

Q: 9. what do I need to conect this to a 240volt AC power source?

A: This E6 Battery Dummy Pack is meant to be used with a large battery by Laparte. In order to be used with a 220VAC system, you need the Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for Select Canon Cameras. Please note: you will need an adapter plug for the cord and this item is currently on back order and there is a shipping delay of 7-14 business days.

Q: 10. Compatible with the M50 Mark II?
