The light beige Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, TA3F Connectoris a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this work with the CANON 6DMKII?

A: The Canon 6D Mark II uses the LP-E6 Battery System. This dummy battery should work well with that camera.

Q: 2. Does this provide separate power for accessories, as I've been reading about people frying their HDMI port when using external batteries like these, with the BMPCC4K

A: The Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit comes with a lemo 12v cable that will power the Black Magic Pocket camera models. You can connect other products you would like to power to the battery. However this would not damage your camera when in use.

Q: 3. Will this work with EOS R5C?

A: Yes, the EOS R5C will work with the Canon DC DR-E6 coupler.

Q: 4. How long is the battery life? Is it powered by the hot shoe?

A: It uses an independent button Li-ion battery; it's not powered by the hot shoe. I haven't had the microphone that long, nor have I used it that much to be able to tell you how long the battery lasts. The good thing about the microphone is that it has a wind screen that helps minimize wind noise on the microphone.

Q: 5. I take it if there is a switch for record/playback this device probably can’t do playback while recording? I do track recording and normally play previous tracks through headphones while recording and I wondered if this one can do that.

A: You must download a recording application supporting real-time input/output pass-through. Then you are able to monitor the audio during recording.

Q: 6. Hello, I have a micro-battery LP-E6 that I bought for use with my BMCC4k, when I put it in my canon battery charger LC-E6, the light flashes without stopping and it seems that it does not charge the battery at all, do you know that it may be happening?

A: consider this charger , Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for LP-E6 & LP-E6N Battery B&H # WACCNLPE6

Q: 7. Is the quick release made of plastic or metal?

A: The quick release on this Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery, would be made of plastic.

Q: 8. Will this work with a Shure BLX4 receiver H9 band?

A: Yes this will work with a Shure BLX bodypack transmitter.

Q: 9. For the 5D Mark III, I found the battery door needs to close for the camera to turn on. How have you used the coupler with the battery door since there is no space for the coupler wire to close the door? Or have you taken off the door, in which case, how did you depress the trigger so that it would recognize the power source and turn on.

A: There is a tiny rubber slot in the front of the camera (on the grip, where the end of your pinky finger sits) that opens up, allowing the dummy battery cable to run out.

Q: 10. Will this work with an R5c and DTap to USB-C Kondor Regulator Cable ?

A: The Anton/Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery will provide power to the Canon EOS R5C with the DTap to USB-C Kondor Regulator Cable.
