The QSC MP-M40 Music and Paging Mixer provides remarkable capabilities of processing and routing high-quality foreground/background audio for multizone retail and hospitality applications. The MP-M40 features 4 mic/line inputs, 4 line inputs, and 4 zone outputs, plus a channel for music on hold. Each line input features dual phono jacks (summed to mono) for easy connection to the sources typically found in business music installations. The unit is also equipped with cue-bus outputs for auditioning zones and tracks and a USB port for storing and recalling design files, presets, and scenes (beyond the mixer's internal memory). A: The 2 top mounts on the Oben TAB-4M Four-Mount Tripod Accessory Bar have 1/4"-20 screws. You can screw your cameras directly on these mounts; however, we recommend adding a tripod head or a quick release system for better articulation and a quick release option. The base mount of the Oben TAB-4M Four-Mount Tripod Accessory Bar has a 3/8"-16; therefore, you can connect directly to the tripod base mount.

Q: 3. I just received this item. When I mount the bar to a set of tripod legs and turn the rubber wheel to tighten the screw, the wheel is very difficult to turn and sometimes I need both hands to turn it. Has anyone else experienced this?

A: It will depend on what you mean by difficult. The central thumb screw under the center of the Mounting arm is manufactured from rubber for better grip, but it can seem a bit awkward to to tighten. Two tips would be to 1) Ensure the screw on the bottom center of the Mounting Arm is properly seated on the screw on the top of your tripod's center column, and 2) Try holding the thumbscrew dial and instead, turn the entire bar clockwise to tighten the mounting bar to the center column on your tripod. While it should not be overly difficult if you are following the above instructions and the instructions listed in the instruction manual, and you still seem to be having issues with connecting the mounting bar to your tripod, I would recommend contacting Oben directly for assistance with the Mounting Bar either by calling them at (212) 594-2120 or by e-mailing them at info {at} obensupports {dot} com.
