[21.55 lb] This stand was better than I had expected. I use it for animation. It is sturdy and the mast is taller than I had thought it would be, which gives a lot of options for media size and even camera movement. The lights work perfectly. The only issue I have is that the actual mounts on the lights seem a little weak, the plastic a little cheap. I’m concerned that they won’t wear well. Otherwise I love it and would recommend.

[CRI 95] Bought this for use in a forensic setting, after giving up on DIY options. Just what was needed. I have a D5600 with a 40mm macro lens dedicated to copy stand use, and it stays in place thanks to the rubber on the bracket. The lens/camera combination works great. The lens length enables capture of macro shots as well as shots of almost the entire board -- the 40mm macro cuts about 1-2 inches around the perimeter of the board at the tallest camera height, so if you need that extra space go for a wide zoom or 35mm and fix distortion in post-processing. The camera has an articulating screen so I can see the live view no matter what height the camera is at. The camera adjustment arm is easy to use, very smooth and locks into place with no movement, and is lightly spring-loaded so it goes up and down with almost no effort. The LED lights are more than bright enough even with filters placed over them. The light arms themselves are only meant for the weight of the lights, but they do the job are are very adjustable. The 42 larger size board is a better choice just for the working space. The copy board itself is made of particle board which isnt fantastic, but its what I expected; I just cover it with a waterproof sheet when Im shooting anything liquid. Worth the purchase if youll be shooting on it even just a few times a month. Remote shutter is a must unless you want to use the camera timer every time you take a shot.

[43 x 26 x 8.3"] I have been using this to scan tons of old photos. The camera mount works well and the lighting is just right. For old photos, I use a piece of museum glass to flatten old prints. Also perfect for other macro jobs. I love it. Well worth the price.

[CRI 95] I bought this stand in order to make the task of taking photos of old family snapshots that are permanently stuck in photo album pages easier.


Using my Fuji X-T2 with 80MM Fuji macro lens (IOS turned off!) it was very simple to get a production line going. The quick-release spring loaded upright made moving the camera up and down (as required for different sized prints) very quick. The LED light panels provide excellent flat even lighting. Basically, once it is set up initially, the little tweaks that are often needed are very easy to do.



Certainly sturdy enough for the kit I mounted; Im glad I bought this unit for my project and will likely use it in future for other copying situations.
