[Yes] I loaned my 1st FJ400 to my daughter. She liked it so much, that I never saw it again and had to order a 2nd one for me. I usually shoot indoors, but had a outdoor family shoot. I got to shoot some hi speed sync, for some young kids jumping in the leaves. Its recycle rate was great for the leaf jumping shots.

[16] I've always considered myself a natural light shooter as a way to state that I don't mess with artificial lighting. Because the current temperature is so cold, I've had clients increasingly request indoor sessions. In order to accommodate them I decided to get a strobe. After much research, this seemed to be the best choice for many so I took the chance.

This thing is POWERFUL!!! It has opened up a whole new world and has given me a new reason to enjoy photography. I pair this with the Wescott 7' umbrellas (3 pack) anUploadd the rapid box that comes with it. Images are beautiful and SHARP!

The backpack is of premium quality! I wasn't expecting much and was just content with a free backpack but this thing is the best quality photography backpack I've owned. I've had a few and this is top tier.

I can't recommend it enough. When I get money I will buy a second one. Do yourself a favor and buy it!!!

[Bowens S] I am replacing my aging Quantum Q Flashes T5DR/X5DR. Quantum has been my go-to lighting for nearly 20 years. They have served me well but the aging cords, sperate battery packs and the cheap plastic housing that needs to be replaced often has become too expensive and complicated t to maintain, not to mention AC is not on option. I was looking for a replacement to them and skipped over Profoto due to cost and landed on the Westcott FJ400's. I am sold with these strobes so far. They have been 100% reliable and produce the lighting you would expect from a more expensive alternative. The FJ400's are not light and a little heavy but, that is expected with the battery attached to the unit. Wireless communication has been proven reliable with my experience. Battery life is great, and it lasts longer than I expected. The option to power them with AC is a plus. I strongly recommend.

[1x Case
] This is my first Strobe and I've gotta say, it is super simple to use and such a Game Changer when it comes to Image Quality. After using this I don't know how I lived without it for so long.

[1x Case
] I just used it for a portrait, is very easy to use, with the wireless trigger you can have full control of the light.

The light is heavy that needs a strong stand.

[9-Stop Range] Light weight, good and enough power, control from the photography location and suitable kelvin.

[1/19,000 Sec] Im sure there are other quality strobes out there in this world, honestly don’t see myself ever needing to find out. This strobe is pure perfection, simply put its perfection.

[32] I'm going to preface that this is the highest-end light I have ever used so it would be impossible for me to judge this against truly high-end lights. However, this light has met all my needs. I primarily use it with my Canon EOS R5 but I've also used it on the EOS RP. It's very powerful. It recycles so quickly where I can just keep popping shots back to back to back. The battery lasts very long. Very easy to attach softboxes and other accessories. It comes in a nice compact case to hold all its contents. It also works with my Canon trigger which was a big draw. It can be a little finicky to get this strobe to work with the Canon trigger, but once you know the sequence, it's really easy and reliable. If you have issues, what I suggest is to install your Canon trigger on the camera, turn it on. Then turn on the strobe and set the settings to match the settings on the Canon trigger. Then test the light by taking a photo. If it doesn't fire, turn off the strobe and turn it back on and set the settings again and then do a test shot. Here's also what I learned: you have to set the settings every time you power on the light even if no settings were changed on the Canon trigger or the strobe. That's right, even if the settings appear to match what's on your Canon trigger, you still have to set them again. It's just a weird quirk. I assume if you buy the Westcott trigger, you won't have these quirks but I don't have one so I don't know. But being able to control my Canon speedlites together with this strobe as my primary was crucial. From what I understand, the Westcott trigger can also control my Canon speedlites but I don't have it so I can't test. Not having used more expensive lights, I have no basis for comparison. But as a relative neophyte with strobes, I completely recommend this light.
