Q: 1. I have a friend with a Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ Reflector Telescope and I have a Canon Rebel T3i. Will this work to join those two items for eclipse photos?Do I need anything else for that purpose? If possible, can you confirm the diameter of the main lens on the Celestron is 130mm like the model # indicates?

A: As stated above you will need a T-adapter to go between the T-Ring and the telescope. You need to know whether the telescope accepts 1.25in or 2in eyepieces to know what size T-Adapter to get. The T-Ring is camera specific so you are good there. The T-Adapter adapts the T-ring to the telescope. Don't forget the appropriate solar filter. You can only use the telescope and camera during totality without the solar filter. The solar filter must be in place outside totality or you will destroy the camera, your eye or both.

Q: 2. what is the difference between EOS and EF lens?

A: The manufacturer should have use the term EF to denote the adapter correctly rather than EOS which is the name of the camera which uses the EF mount.

Q: 3. used with Rebel cameras do I also need an EF-S to EOS adapter?

A: Nope! This will work with EF and EF-S cameras without an adapter. You will only need another adapter if you have the mirrorless line of Canon cameras, the EF-M.

Q: 4. I am using a Sony A7S with Metabones E-mount to Canon EF adaptor. I want an EF mount TO PL mount so I can use my Fuji Cabrio 19-90 on the A7S. So I'd have TWO separate adapters to get from Sony E-mount to Canon EF to PL-mount. Will this adapter accomplish that? I think I need both adapters attached in order to clear the mirror.

A: This combination is unknown so you would be on your own as far as testing it. I would say from my years of movie camera assisting, I would not feel confident with such a set up if offered. I would be concerned with maintaining the proper depth and not feel confident it would work all day, every day. I would suggest instead that for using the the Fujinon Cabrio, use a proper PL to E-mount adapter. Keep in mind that when using the Fujinon ZK19-90mm T2.9 Cabrio Premier Lens (PL Mount) on your Sony a7S, the camera must be in crop mode since the lens is for Super35 and will not cover the a7S full frame.

Q: 5. Would this work with RED DIGITAL CINEMA RAVEN EF-Mount and putting an Cooke S4i on board?

A: No, because the rear element length from the mount is greater than 14mm.

Q: 6. Is this the 10mm T ring?

A: The T-Ring is 11mm. Canon EOS (EF) bodies are 44mm deep, and adding an 11mm T-ring will get you to the ideal 55mm spacing.

Q: 7. is this compatible with DZO Vespid primes lenses?

A: The FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter ARRI PL to Canon EF is not compatible with DZO Vespid primes lenses.

Q: 8. I own a Canon 6D and a 5D M-III. I want to use these lenses on my new Sony A6400. Is this the correct adapter to purchase to fit my Sony E mount? I don't mind that it's not an electronic adapter.

A: If using Canon EF lenses originally for your Canon DSLRs on a Sony A6400 with an E mount, the Commlite Electronic Autofocus Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF or EF-S-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera, BH # COCMEFNEXB would be a much better option. https://bhpho.to/3r6EOfG

Q: 9. will this pl to ef adaptor work with a ursa mini pl ?

A: That's right! This adapter is for PL to EF. You need adapter EF to PL.

Q: 10. Would you recommend using this with a Canon EF Metabones? I have an EF Metabones adapter on my Sony A7S and Lumix GH4 to use all my Canon glass, would there be any difference in performance between this method, or should I lose the Metabones on the A7 and just go with a dedicated E-mount between the Celestron T-mount and the A7?

A: It will work but like others have said, staying with a native lens would work best.

[9.8 x 7 x 2.6"] This is a useful cable when for instance you've got an iris and a focus motor on an Angenieux EZ zoom, and your motors are mounted one on the bottom and one above the lens. Also useful to reach from your cforce motors back to an LCUB or UMC if your camera build isn't too long. Always good to have a variety of lengths available.

[ARRI PL Mount] It's longer than I normally use, but you've got to have a long cable in the kit for when you're forced to mount a UMC or LCUB at the back of the camera, and you've got to reach all the way to the front for the motors. With this cable you could reach from the back of a Sony Venice to the focus motor on an Angenieux EZ zoom mounted up front. Must have.

[ARRI PL Mount] this thing does what you used to need an EXT cable to do, love it.

[9.8 x 7 x 2.6"] A 1' LBUS cable is just about the perfect length for me. I often mount my motors from the top of the camera, so a 1' cable reached from the LBUS port on the lens mount up to a top-mounted motor just perfectly. If using more than one motor, I try to place them on either side of the lens in order to balance the weight for my operator, and again the 1' cable is the perfect size to reach across the lens to the other motor.

[9.8 x 7 x 2.6"] I mean it's a mount, what do you expect? Would be nice if it was like $1000 cheaper or something but it has ARRI printed on the side so good luck getting anything from them for cheap.

Ok yeah, woo.
