The tan Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, TA3F Connectoris a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a stand that will hold this, rather than a huge C stand?

A: For the Manfrotto Frame for Skylite Frame-Panel Reflector - Medium - 42x78", you would want to have at least one — but preferably two — sandbagged C-stands. I would not recommend a lighter stand for a large frame. As an alternative, a heavy-duty steel stand such as the Matthews Maxi Kit Steel Stand (9.5'), B&H # MALSMKZ, or the Impact Folding Wheeled Base Stand (Black/Chrome-plated, 8.5'), B&H # IMLSPSFB8, may also work, but a lightweight aluminum general purpose stand would not be my recommendation for your intended usage needs.

Q: 2. Will this frame work with the Skylite Rapid Fabric Medium 1.1 x 2m?

A: Yes it will

Q: 3. If I wanted to us this with my mixpre10 II to send out of the two L,R TA3outputs to a camera 3.5mm line in ?

A: Yes it should work for your intended purpose.

Q: 4. How many entries per roll does this book have? I have ordered these two separate times, and one set of books has 14/15 entries per roll, and the other set has 8 entries per roll. I'm shooing 120 film on an RB67, so 8 per roll is too few unless I'm shooting 6x8, and 14/15 is too many but at least it covers 10 shots in 6x7.

A: The following page notebook contains 15 rolls worth of templates.

Q: 5. Would this be deep enough for a DFA 100mm 2.8 WR Pentax Lens?

A: Yes this bag will fit the 100mm.

Q: 6. Is this the correct size for the Milvus 15mm, 35 mm and 100 mm macro?

A: The Medium Lens Gear will fit both the 15mm and 35mm f1.4. The Milvus35mm f2 requires either the Mini Lens Gear (ZF.2) or Small Lens Gear (ZE). The Milvus100mm f2 Macro requires the Medium Macro Lens Gear.

Q: 7. Can I send a stereo line out to two ta3 inputs on a Sound Devices 633 with this cable?

A: That should work. Just be sure phantom power is off on those inputs!

Q: 8. Is this the correct size for the Otus 55mm?

A: Yes, the ZEISS Lens Gear (Medium) is compatible with the Zeiss Otus 55mm.

Q: 9. What is the diameter of the aluminum tubing?

A: The diameter of the tubing of this frame is 20mm.

Q: 10. Will a Tamron 24-70 lens fit in this pouch?

A: Yes, the following unit will provide a snug fit for the Tamron 24-70 lens with the lens hood on reversed.
