The tan Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic, Low Sens, Hirose Connector, Azdenfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic, Low Sens, Hirose Connector, Azdenis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Azden UHF 41BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have evertything I need to connect to a Canon XA20 with dual XLR inputs?

A: Hi, yes this kit comes with 2 XLR adapters to connect to the Canon camera's XLR inputs. Thank you for shopping at B&H!

Q: 2. will this work with a canon vixia hf w11 or is there an adapter available?

A: Hello Amy, thank you for your interest in the Azden products. We studied the Canon Vixia HF W11 and found that the camera is not equipped with a 3.5mm mic input which the PRO-XR requires to function. Therefore, unfortunately, the PRO-XR does not work with the Vixia HF W11.

Q: 3. Will the receiver take a signal from two transmitters at the same time?

A: The Azden WLX-Pro receiver is only capable of communicating with a single transmitter simultaneously.

Q: 4. Would the transmitter accept my Azden SMX-30 Stereo/Mono microphone to form a wireless boom pole rig?

A: While technically the connections would fit, we can not guarantee compatibility with the two units as some wireless transmitters require a specific impedance that may or may not accept other types of microphones. Please also note that the stereo function of the SMX30 would not be applicable as the Azden will sum all signals to mono.

Q: 5. Can we record a video at the same time as recording the voice?

A: Yes.

Q: 6. What other brand of lapel mics can be used instead of the supplied lapel?

A: Hello Jonathan. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the WLX-PRO+i wireless microphone system. To answer your question, any lapel mic that has a MONO 3.5mm plug that takes power from the transmitter will work.

Q: 7. Can this be used as a regular lav mic (without need of mobile device)?

A: The EX-503i features a TRRS connector that is designed specifically for smartophone use and will not be compatible with standard 3.5mm mic inputs without an adapter. There is also a standard version of the mic called the EX-503

Q: 8. Can the receiving transmitter be mounted onto a DSLR shoe mount? How (do I need an adapter)?

A: The receiver has a clip-on adapter that mounts on the shoe.

Q: 9. How well does this system work with Canon 5D ?

A: This is considered an entry-level, basic wireless microphone system, and should work fairly well depending upon the distance and operating environment. Depending upon your particular project or application you may very happy with its performance for the price/value paid.

Q: 10. Can the microphone system be used with a Panasonic model HC-V180 camera?

A: If the camera has the standard 3.5mm audio input jack, then yes.
