The light beige Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain, TA3F Connectoris a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with current Apple ipad air which has a USB-C connector, not a lightening connector?

A: No this is a lightning connector and will only work with lightning devices.

Q: 2. Can this convert a 3.5mm mono mic level input to line level signal?

A: No, the ART CLEANBoxPro Bi-Directional Level Matching Converter is not a preamp, and will not properly amplify a mic signal coming from a 3.5mm cable.

Q: 3. Is it good to connect sennheiser G4 RX to Sound Devices 633 Line input?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 4. The low mighty baby stand (this item) (KS101212) and the short low mighty stand (KS101412) have nearly identical specs. Why would you choose one over the other?

A: One might choose the Kupo Short Low Mighty Stand (3.3'), BH #KUKS10141 if they are using a light that has a junior pin and a yoke attachment, as this stand has a junior receiver. On the other hand, one might choose the Kupo Low Mighty Baby Stand (22.5"), BH # KUKS101212 if they are only using lights which have a baby receiver on them.

Q: 5. Anyone using these stands with a Dana dolly? Thanks

A: Yes , but not recommended

Q: 6. can i use this cable out of a 633 to the Sony utx-B40 transmitter.. also is there a capacitor to get rid of the mic power from the transmitter?

A: We offer BH #AMX3F35EWSNY to go from the XLR output of a Sound Devices 633 recording into a Sony UTX-B40 transmitter, or Sony UWP series transmitter.

Q: 8. Would this also work with iPads that have USB-C?

A: Yes, the Rode VideoMic Me-C is compatible for use with iPads that have a USB-C connector.

Q: 9. When the center post is unadjusted and lowered to the minimum, is its working height 106.7 cm or 92 cm?

A: The Minimum Working Height is 42" / 106.7 cm

Q: 10. Since this plugs into the lighting port you can't charge and record audio at the same time which is a flaw. If a lighting splitter was used on the phone with this going to one port and the charger going to the other will it work? Will still need to rig it so the mic is not just dangling from the dongle.

A: It might, but neither Rode or Apple would approve. We have not tested this work-flow as this mic has not begun shipping.
