Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many minutes work after charging?

A: I use it for my Sound Devices 633 along with another off brand battery as back ups when my np1 that powers everything goes down and I don't have time to change to a fresh. Both xl series batts last about 4-5 hours just powering the 633 and a boom for phantom power, I don't have them set up to power the receivers or hops. Again that's what I use them for, your mileage may vary if you are using for another purpose.

Q: 2. Will this mic work with Facebook, specifically using an Iphone to do a Facebook Live?

A: Yes. Works great! I do recommend these to anyone doing live stuff etc. For the price you can't beat it and by that I just mean that the next best thing would be wireless but soundwise these are excellent... I did experience a little feedback when a host got a little too loud once though but overall no complaints

Q: 3. What length and size stands can this bag hold?

A: The interior dimensions of the PortaBrace LP-B3 Light Pack Case, Medium (Black) are listed as 10 x 6 x 37 inches (25.4 x 15.2 x 94 cm). As such, your light stand should be approximately 36 inches (91.44 cm) or shorter to fit inside the above case.

Q: 4. What is the internal recording memory of this transmitter?

A: The Saramonic TXR features 8GB of internal memory capable of storing up to 14.8 hours of 16- or 24-bit audio at 48 kHz in lossless .WAV formats.

Q: 5. Does the mic require a battery? If so, what kind? Thanks.

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Mic Lavalier Mic within the IK Multimedia iRig Video Creator Bundle All-in-One Streaming Setup for Smartphones receives the power it requires ("plug-in power") from its connection to the smartphone or other compatible device as opposed to operating via battery power.

Q: 6. What format does it record in?

A: The Saramonic Blink 500 ProX TXR Transmitter/Recorder records in Wav format.

Q: 7. How long is the cord?

A: The iRig Mic Lav features a 66 cable.

Q: 8. I need to replace the mounting clip and cant find the part. Is there any compatible one that can be used?

A: The WindTech TC-7 Set of Three Tie Clips for 1 to 2mm Lapel Microphones (Black), BH #WITC7 can be used as clips for this lavalier mic. They would connect to the cable just below the head of the mic.

Q: 9. How does this compare to the Zoom H1n? There are no reviews here nor in YouTube.

A: There are some advantages to the Zoom H1n and some for the Saramonic SR-Q2M. The Zoom is a bit smaller and lighter, but the Saramonic has metal construction, so it's a bit more substantial and rugged. So it depends on what you're looking for, lighter and smaller versus stronger and more rugged. The Zoom features a more detailed screen and editing features, while the Saramonic includes a remote, lavalier, case, furry windscreen and MicroSD Again it depends on what you're looking for, will the more detailed screen and editing features matter more than a more complete suite of accessories. If those accessories are something you want and need, the Saramonic is clearly a better value because those items add up when purchased separately.

Q: 10. Will this run a Sony camera? Some non-Sony batteries do not.

A: If the Sony camera takes NP-F batteries, the Sound Devices XL-B3 Lithium Ion Battery should be compatible, as it is an NP-F-type battery.
