The white Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Audio Technica Wirelessfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Audio Technica Wirelessis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a cH-style 4-pin connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-T5201 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this work with a canon vixia hf w11 or is there an adapter available?

A: Hello Amy, thank you for your interest in the Azden products. We studied the Canon Vixia HF W11 and found that the camera is not equipped with a 3.5mm mic input which the PRO-XR requires to function. Therefore, unfortunately, the PRO-XR does not work with the Vixia HF W11.

Q: 2. How can i know what kind of off brand lavalier microphone can be screwed in this transmitter?

A: The Comica Audio CVM-WM200C PRO transmitter is compatible with lavalier microphones which have Sennheiser-style locking connectors.

Q: 3. Is the body metal or plastic?

A: Plastic

Q: 4. Do the two channels into the receiver come out of the receiver as separate channels?

A: It is switchable, so you can have one in each channel (mono) or stereo.

Q: 5. What's the length of the mic cable?

A: The cable is just under 4' long.

Q: 6. I have a C100 MK 2, was thinking that this would be great to use with a shotgun Mic. Plug one end into the XLR in the upper handle and the other into the XLR on the Mic. This should work well, correct?

A: You would have to plug the mic into the transmitter and the receiver into a recorder, camera or mixer. This is only made for dynamic mic's. So no phantom power.

Q: 7. The manual refers to using a third party app when using a cell phone. Do you have a recommendation for the app or what the app might be called? It also says "it doe snot support the partial original recording of android systems" What does this mean?

A: For smartphone shooting, customers must separately purchase a TRS-TRRS audio converting cable, and pay attention to set the mobile phone mode to 'Flight Mode' to avoid incoming call interference(It does not support the partial original recording of android systems, the third-party APP is recommended to be used in this case. Q: 8. Would the transmitter accept my Azden SMX-30 Stereo/Mono microphone to form a wireless boom pole rig?

A: While technically the connections would fit, we can not guarantee compatibility with the two units as some wireless transmitters require a specific impedance that may or may not accept other types of microphones. Please also note that the stereo function of the SMX30 would not be applicable as the Azden will sum all signals to mono.

Q: 9. Do they make a rack mount kit for these units? Can you mount 2 of then side by side or should I just mount them on a1 RU shelf?

A: Yes, the Audio-Technica ATW-1312/L System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Combo Lavalier & Handheld Microphone System comes with rackmount hardware and a joining bar for connecting two ATW-RU13 receivers side by side.

Q: 10. Can you buy an extra bodypack to pair up with one of the channels such that you can use either the handheld or bodypack?

A: Yes you can get a Audio-Technica ATW-T1001 System 10 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (2.4 GHz) to use with the Audio-Technica ATW-RU13 System 10 PRO Wireless Receiver so that you can either use 2 handheld or 2 lavalier microphones.
