The 18" D.A.S. Audio ACTION-S18 is a passive subwoofer that’s portable, versatile, and simple to use. It is designed to supplement a main PA speaker, offering a louder and deeper bass extension to the ACTION-508, -512, -515, or any full-range PA speaker, and it's suitable for audiences up to 300. When used with the required amplifier and speaker processor, the subwoofer is easily setup to help working presenters, musicians, instructors, performers, and A/V providers get powerful, clean, and clear sound quickly.

The subwoofer provides 133 dB of peak SPL—plenty of volume for mid-sized venues including houses of worship, conference centers, performance spaces, and meeting rooms. An amplifier delivering 2800W peak power drives the 18” woofer, providing a deep, clean, and detailed bass response with a frequency range of from 160 down to 33 Hz. The woofer features a 3" double layer voice coil to boost system power, while a forced convection circuit reduces the effects of coil heating, improving the system's overall performance.

The rear panel sports two speakON connectors for input and output, allowing you to daisy-chain to other subwoofers. Two side handles offer ease in transport, while the integrated pole cup allows for speaker pole mounting of full-range speakers.

[133 dB (Peak)] This thing does exactly what you want: switching RCA inputs seamlessly. I purchased this in order to toggle between my computer input and modular synthesizer input, which outputs to studio monitors. The knobs feel solid and the case itself is a tank. Very pleased with this product. 5

[1x Each Side] I put this between some consumer audio gear (CD player, network streamer) and the RCA inputs on my Mackie HR824 studio monitors. As far as I can tell, it doesn't affect the sound, and there's no significant noise when changing volume or switching between inputs. Sturdy construction, nice and compact. 5

[96 dB SPL] we use this sub woofer at church with 4 zx1 90 by ev its lightweight easy to handle it packs a low that could cause ur ears to hurt if too close. theres nothing not great about it. 5

[96 dB SPL] * NL4 Connectors? Really? I didn't plan on that! * This speaker is cute. Esthetically it matches our other new speakers. We bought the lower-rated version of the speaker. As a 15in speaker, it can hit, but we will keep tweaking it. It sounds likes the highs are good and the bottom is weak (but that may be the tuning remnants from our previous speaker) For my solution, I don't want these to drive extremely hard. So far, they don't have any presence unless the vocalist eats the microphone. We'll keep tweaking. These are replacing our Passive Peavy 15s. These don't have the same presence. They seem like 10s versus 15s. I just connected today because I was waiting 6 days on NL4 connectors. I still think we are going to enjoy these. I just hate that I didn't notice they require NL4 connectors. It's in the description, but I didn't notice. I didn't plan to shift to any NL4 systems. We bought 1/4 inch to NL4 connectors and are moving along. These came via external B&H vendor. They were within scope for my delivery need date; however, these external vendors suck at providing updates regarding the delivery date. 5
