This black-powdered coat Heavy-Duty Dual Swivel Clamp for 50mm Tubing from Global Truss is ideal for joining truss systems or pipes with an approximate 2" outer diameter. It has two M12 bolts that tighten down via large wing nuts. It is rated at 1100 lb load capacity. It is compatible with the F31/F32/F33/F34/F44P truss series and is TUV-approved.

A: The original pin Impact 6.0 Pin with Collar, should of fit fine. You might have needed to make sure the screw on the flash is unscrewed enough.The Swivel pin should work as well. The flash fits on a 5/8 stud and both items are 5/8.

A: The Heavy Duty Swivel Pin adds articulation to your stand or boom and the ball joint allows 180 swivel of the fixture. The Impact Baby Drop Down Pin is used on the end of a boom arm to maintain a constant downward angle of a mounted light fixture.

A: Pipes that are smaller than 1.75 inches will not be tight in the Global Truss Heavy Duty Dual Swivel Clamp for 50mm Tubing.

A: This swivel pin allows you to point in any direction axis. Versatile and strong. Use it for strobes and tungsten lights.

Q: 8. Does the included cotter pin allow you to lock the clamp in 90° or parallel? And how easy is it to insert/remove the pin?

A: This is a swivel clamp, so you can swivel it to adjust the angle of the connection between the two poles. It doesn't lock, but using two of these (say, one on each side of a piece of the truss) it will be secure.

Q: 9. Can it lock to connect two parallel pipes?

A: Yes, this is for attaching pipes that are perpendicular/right angle or parallel to each other.

Q: 10. Does anyone know the ball diameter?

A: It's about 1 or 1 1/8 . I took a photo along with a ruler but this site doesn't allow more advanced answers.

[2.3 lb] Wow, this clamp is built to last through a war zone. It's huge, solid, and totally over-engineered for my purpose of hanging under 20lbs with it, but its the most affordable clamp of its kind that I found. I have no doubt it can hold 1000lbs. 5
