Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the 5500k have twice as many daylight less since there is no tungsten LEDs?

A: Ive set mine at 5500k at 30% output and still pretty bright. You can set the color temperature if your looking for similar tungsten color output. Hope this helps.

Q: 2. What is the batteries or AC adapter for this video light? or any link to buy it? Thanks

A: The Yongnuo YN600LED Daylight Video Light BH #YOYN600L55 needs 2x NP-F. You can use these batteries with it BH #GENPF770CS.

Q: 3. Does this light have accessory carryingstorage case?

A: While there are no dedicated cases designed for the Yongnuo Pro LED YN900W Daylight Video Light, I would recommend either the Cineroid QBG004 Carrying Bag for LM400 LED Light, B&H # CIQBG004, or the Nanuk 910 Case with Foam (Black), B&H # NA9101001, for your usage needs.

Q: 4. Question: since the 5500k version doesnt have the bi-color option, does that mean that the unit it brighter than the bi-color version? I did get a chance to see the bi-color version of the light up close and it seemed like half of the 320 leds were for the 3200k and the other half were for the 5500k. (Minus 40 leds for the color bulbs as well)

A: Yes the 5600K version would be brighter while the bi-color version would give you nearly half the output in daylight mode.

Q: 5. Does this 1200LED light have a carryingcase????

A: Found a case that might do the trick. email me at michaelmc919@gmail cant include a link here

Q: 6. Hi, i bought these lights, but i have a problem with them. When I turn on one light, the other turns on too, like magic, is there a way i can disconnect them?

A: You can change the channel the unit is setup on.

Q: 7. Does this light have carrying case

A: While this light does not include a case, the Arriba Cases AC120 Padded Lighting Fixture Case B&H # ARAC120 can hold it securely.

Q: 8. What colors does the feature?

A: All of them... -except black (lol)Its a full RGB color scale. so pretty much any color you can think of and set on a color wheel in the smart phone app, or you can use the dial on the light to set RGB values

Q: 9. what adapter, if any, is needed to use this light with a standard light stand?

A: No, the Yongnuo YNLUX100 Bi-Color LED Light comes with no mounting hardware and we suggest the following. Impact Swivel Umbrella Adapter BH #IMCA108 • MFR #CA-108 https://bhpho.to/3VW4oQQ

Q: 10. Where can I get the optional 12v AC power supply for continuous output?

A: The proper AC power supply for this light is the Fujia Appliance AC Power Adapter (12V, 5A), B&H # FUACAD12V5A. https://bhpho.to/2KtGXeR

[55°] This thing is amazing to do close portraits. I bought them last month and brought it with me to Brazil, all the people Ive been shooting using the neon effect that this product does are so amazed by it. You should definetly get two in order to mix colors. Its really awesome.

[Fan] I've used Icelights, so that's what I am comparing this to. Build quality is what I expected from this light. It feels like it might break if I dropped it more than 2-3 times, not as durable feeling as the Icelight. The light also is completely white, which kinda makes it look goofy or like a toy. If you can get over that, this light is awesome! I took it apart and put two layers of parchment paper over the diffusion insert to give it a softer look since the light if very directional and center heavy. I wouldn't recommend you do this as it's hard to get it back together again.

The over-all performance is great, it's not too hard to use one handed while you are filming with a gimbal rig. The phone app is really handy too if you want to hide the light behind a plant or object to create a wall texture. Color looks great and I like that it has an internal battery with power indicator so you know how much of a charge you have.

[CRI 95] Good for 3 purposes: 1) Extra fill light for an on-location interview if you bring a light stand 2) hair light for a more formal interview or 3) background accents for interviews or portraits - just put it in RBG mode and hide it behind your subject

[8 VDC at 5 A] I needed a key light that wasn't a ring light and this is PERFECT! Semi-budget friendly, great quality product. I've had in for YEARS and over performs for my needs. The *only thing to note* is that the fan *does* hum noticeably so if you use this with video, know you'll have to edit that out in post but honestly, I don't even care. This panel is SO worth it. Also, I haven't traveled with it but it is about as small as a tablet/laptop so super portable! Love it! :)

[55°] This is the best video light I seen so far. It's actually consumes 98 watts of power. You'll need to buy the power cable separately. Solid build and the fan is very quiet which help keep the leds cool. High power led do make some heat when over 12 volts of power.

[4680 (at 5500K)] I bought this for the wide beam angle, and yes, it does have a wide beam angle. It take 2 batteries to operate all the LEDs and with 2 batteries, at full output, it is pretty bright. It is easy to dial down the output. No complaints.
