[Daylight] I do fashion photography and this light was able to light up my subject Flawlessly. While shooting outside this spotlight really surprised me. Its a very powerful light and can Be used in so many different ways to get the lighting needed! Thank you for making a great light gvm!

[5600K] I just received my GVM L@-p80s with softbox. set it up and I am impressed - for an economy light this one is bright. Much better light with the softbox. Love the Bowens mount so I can change out the softbox with a snoot, barn doors or whatever. Putting together the softbox was...interesting. Not sure I want to do that in front of a client. Well worth it. Stand seems sturdy - not very high compared to other stands but good.

[25 x 12 x 6.9"] I received this in yesterday and was extremely excited to have lights and a backdrop system for my YouTube and Instagram channel! I opened the box and was extremely surprised to see a non crushable case as i was reading reviews and questions saying it didnt come with one so very happy about that! Everything packaged very nice in the case and was un damaged. Tried every light and they work flawlessly! They are very bright and love the fact they dim! Have not had a chance to set up the tripods or the backdrop set up but im sure they will work great too! Thank you so much!

[LCD] Good quality product. Start using it in the projects. Very bright. I use LED panel light and LED tungsten style light before. Now I realize that I need the Bowen mount LED light since I have lots photography equipment and light box by Bowen mount.

[5600K] If you compare this to the most popular 150W light out there, you might find this one more useful.


It's around the same brightness and basically functions identically, except that it also has a fresnel focusing lamp so you can spotlight it and make it much brighter and/or use it from farther away.


Also, typically you can have a bowens mount OR a fresnel lens, but this light lets you use both.


I have found that I can use a 36 softbox and actually focus the light a bit to get even more brightness out of a soft source, which is great.


That lets me shoot in brighter conditions, or use the light at a lower power setting.


The fan noise is about on par with my SL150Ws, so it's not the ideal light for noise sensitive situations where the light and mic are in close proximity, but it's a versatile and bright light for the price.

[Bowens S] First off, I love (real) soft boxes. No flat panel will ever match a monolight design like this at illuminating a soft box. Bowens mount makes it easy to fit a soft box. This light is extremely well built and looks pretty darn sexy. The light quality looks excellent on video, and there is tons of light available. Remote said optional in the description, but apparently is included. Nice at this price. Connectivity is great, too. Even the AC adapter is extremely well built with a lovely finish. But, whoops, the DC cord is really too short. The line lump does not reach the floor when the light is on a stand. So, I end up having to strap the AC adapter box to the stand. Irritating. But forgiven given how truly nice and useable this light is. I love it and it will now be my go-to video and photo light in the studio (usually with a soft box.)

Brightness and color are better than I expected and with the bowens mount, there is a ton of room for adapting the lights to different environments. They are the perfect accent light, and honestly, I would have no problem using these in place of my Aputure 300d in most cases. For a beginner filmmaker, these are an obvious 1st choice for a cheap but professional lighting setup. Just get a diffusor in front of these babies and you are in business!

[120°] B and H is the best! Fast shipping all the way to Barbados and it came untouched and intact. This light is really bright and comparable with the Aputure 120D however it is more than half of the cost and the quality of the light is amazing.

I will definitely be buying a few more!
