A: Yes the Dot Line Manual Extension Tubes are compatible with the EF-s lenses too.

A: It should. The AI (auto indexing) feature isn't functional in this application. The lens is essentially a fully manual lens. As long as it has an aperture ring on the lens, it'll work.

Q: 10. does auto focus work if mounted with a camera that has an inbuilt motor(D7100 for Example)?

A: Nope, focus will have to be adjusted manually.

[Plastic] Simply screw the white balance lense cap over an existing lens or filter, switch to manual focus mode, shoot and set your white balance to that photo. Easy to use and ideal for obtaining accurate white balance. Highly recommended if you're constantly varying light sources. 5

[0.07 lb] I had never thought about doing a manual white balance. I watched an online class and the instructor spoke of the benefits of manual white balance. I decided to give this product a try. [Plastic] I've tried Canon's, FotodioX's and DotLine's rear lens caps and these are the only ones that mount to the lens mount adapter firmly. I'm using these caps on Pixco and FotodioX Leica M to RF Mount adapters. The strange thing is that FotodioX's rear lens cap won't fit their own lens mount adapters... 5

[0.07 lb] I have been using DotLine white balance lens caps for 5 years. They come supplied with an adapter ring which accepts filters and provides a tight fit for the cap. I use these caps to set a custom white balance before I start taking images. For their price they provide a white balance setting which is as accurate as other caps which cost a lot more. These are a great value and I recommend them to anyone who routinely set a custom WB. 5
