[5] With our limited budget, we bought this PA system for our senior community for use for events and dances in our community center and for outdoor events and concerts on the lawn. Indoors, the system in clear and has far more volume than we would ever use when using the mics or audio recordings from a computer or portable CD player. Outdoors, we needed a system capable of covering an area up to about 50 to 60 feet from the stage. Near the stage, the system again is capable of greater volume than we would ever need. At the far ends of the lawn, the system has enough volume to be clearly heard by the audience. The mic that comes with the PA system has a little more volume than the 2 additional mics added to the kit, but all are more than adequate for vocal use outdoors. But being vocal mics, the speaker has to be fairly close to the mics. This is not a problem for vocal use but they didn't work quite as well when used with musical instruments where being close to the instrument may interfere with the player. But this is only an issue when using the system outdoors near it's limits . Overall, we are very satisfied with this package, which with the mixer/amp, 2 speakers, 3 mics, 2 mic stands and 2 speaker stands give us everything the we need in a system is relatively light weight (a concern for seniors) and easy to setup and use.

[1 RU] Alesis makes great products, so I wasnt surprised to get great performance out of this rack mixer. Sounds great and easy to install and use.

[18 W (Max) ] Fantastic basic unit. Combined with a powered speaker and a wireless setup for a nice portable PA system. The bluetooth link is an added bonus!

[1 RU] I bought this because I needed a mini mixer that would be able to take the very old technology of my turntable and have the new technology of bluetooth in the same mixer, and it works perfect for that. There is no eq but that is fine, because I didn't need it and I am sure that helps with the compact design. This thing really is very small and I very happy about that. The sound is great and I have not noticed any loss in Db and actually boots the Db well without any noticeable distortion. I like that there are both RCA and 1/8 options. And the toggles for phono/aux. I have not had a problem connecting by bluetooth from phones, laptops, both Mac and PCs. Glad I made this pick and I don't even see a competing option out there, so even better that this fulfils my needs.

[18 W (Max) ] I purchased this for my wife for Christmas. She loves karaoke and she does recordings. Was originally going to go with a mixer and powered speakers, but when I saw how dead simple the controls for this were and the simple portability I was sold. It sound really good. Using a tablet for the karaoke connected through bluetooth and then four mic inputs - this thing sounds great. We use the headphone jack with a converter to go to her phone and she is able to do livestreams and record and it sounds perfect.


The EON208P comes with one microphone and there were two other mics included - three in total. The stands are good quality for this size speaker.


It can definitely use a subwoofer - which it has provision for. You can also easily add a monitor, or other powered speakers. We used it with an electric guitar and acoustic guitar with vocals and both sounded excellent.


The mic stands are not heavy duty, fine for home use and light travel, but if you were gigging all the time may need to upgrade them.


Overall very satisfied with the sound, portability, cost of the whole package. The price of the package was the same as the price of the speakers and mixer - so lots of freebies to get started that could be upgraded over time.
