Q: 8. Will this card work for 600 Mb/s 4K/60 All-I footage from the Sony A7SIII?

A: No, it would not be compatible. The SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Type B, B&H # SACFEP128GB, is a larger card that is not compatible for use with the smaller CFexpress Type A card slot found on the Sony Alpha a7S III Mirrorless Digital Camera. While we do not currently have a CFexpress Type A card from SanDisk, the two options we have that would be compatible would be the Sony 80GB CFexpress Type A TOUGH Memory Card, B&H # SOCEAG80, or the Sony 160GB CFexpress Type A TOUGH Memory Card, B&H # SOCEAG160. The maximum bitrate for the Sony Alpha a7S III is 600 Mbps, which would require a minimum sustained write speed of 75 MB/sec or faster to record 4K video. The Sony memory cards listed above have a minimum sustained write speed of 400 MB/sec, and would be more than fast enough for your usage needs. If you need a card that is currently in stock, as the Sony a7S III also supports SDXC UHS-II cards, the Lexar 128GB Professional 2000x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card with SD Card Reader, B&H # LESD2000128R, has a minimum sustained write speed of 90 MB/sec, and would also work for your needs until the CFexpress Type A cards are available for purchase.

Q: 9. I bought this 128gb card together with ProGrade Digital CFXB,SDXC,SDHC USB 3.1 GEN 2 READER. Check the speed using the h2testw V 1.4 software and disappointed: Write speed-323 MByte/s, Reed speed - 294 MByte/s. What is wrong?

A: The read and write speeds on the card are theoretical speeds that are valid only in a perfect scenario. Nobody really gets the card to work at those speeds. Now the question why one card can be slower than another, it could be the drivers in your computer are slowing down the card, it could be you are connecting the card reader to a USB hub that is slowing down the card, it could be the USB cable you are using is slow, it could be the card is defective. There are so many variables unfortunately. If ProGrade is working faster for you I would recommend returning the Sandisk and getting ProGrade cards.

Q: 10. This card does it work with canon EOS 5d

A: This card does not work in any of the Canon EOS 5D cameras.

[64 GB] Using these Sandisk Extreme Pro CF Express cards is fantastic for today's cameras. They keep up with all my Nikon Z9's new featurers.

[64 GB] This card is fast and it doubles the storage capacity of my previous XQD card. I also like the stiffer case used here. SD cards and the older CF cards had some flex to them which sometimes caused problems. I am very pleased with this card. It fits in an XQD card slotr but may not work with older readers. If you are using both XQD and CF Express cards with a reader, make sure the reader will handle both types of cards. A problem was reported by one user when attempting to read XQD cards in an off-brand reader which was supposed to read both types. In summary the increased storage and speed of the CF Express type B card is a welcome improvement and works well in compatible devices. It is well worth the money.

[6 x 4 x 0.3"] Solid performance from SanDisk which is what we expect from our equipment. Reading performance is fast and to date I haven’t had a failure. These cards are solid performers.

[0.06 lb] I tried several memory card brands and found SanDisk to be best for me. They are fast and very reliable. I have been using a 512GB card in my Nikon Z7 for three years with no problems or lost files. Ordered this one for my new Nikon Z8, so have two of the SanDisks in both my Nikons.

[64 GB] I bought this because I thought I lost my one-and-only other CFexpress card, (with about 3,000 vacation photos and a few hundred videos on it, thanks for asking). But then, after receiving this one, my prodigal card returned to me. Wheeew!

It too, is a SanDisk Extreme Pro CFexpress card and has never failed me. So, in spite of so little time using this new one, I'm going ahead and giving this one 5 stars based on my old one.

My old one, BTW, is only 128GB. In a camera pumping out 45MB RAW photos, it lasted a full week in New Zealand and almost all of our first full day in Australia. Now, with 4X that much memory in this new card, my camera will probably NEVER have to switch over to its second, back-up card slot!

But then, that's a separate concern: If this new, 512MB card does ever fail, how many treasured photos will I lose? So, with the recent drop in price for these, I will probably invest in several more smaller, 128MB cards. I'll stick with this same brand, of course.
