[0.335 lb] Really nice unit overall, especially for the price. Lots of great functions; zebra, false color, rgb parade, focus assist, etc. Loading luts is easy and the touchscreen is very responsive. The tilt arm can be a little stiff - make sure you have the two bump notches lined up and don't be afraid to put some pressure behind the tilt the first few times you use it. The documentation isn't amazing, but the menu is intuitive enough to figure everything out. And yes, the fast menu items *can* be customized using the scroll wheel. My unit also came with the latest firmware out of the box, which was nice. I would love to have external recording on it, but at this price that's just not viable.

[0.335 lb] Very clear image with nice built in features. Nice edition to to my camcorder, as my eyes aren't what they used to be. So a bit bigger screen is very helpful.
I bought this as a deal of the day, and worth every penny.

One of the biggest appeals to me was the compatibility with both Sony-L series (NP-F) Batteries, as well as Canon LP-E6. I use both with my BMPCC4k, so this flexibility is fantastic. The folding sunhood doesn't seem very durable, but no problems with it yet. Any review you see on this monitor will tell you that it's great for the price, and I agree.


There are three 1/4 mounting holes on the monitor: Right side, bottom, and top. I wish there was one on the back and left side, but for the price, I can't complain. As a result of the lower cost, this thing seems to be 100% plastic, so I dread dropping this thing from any height, especially if I have a battery on it.

The features this has built-in are top-notch. False color, focus asist, histogram, waveforms, and more. Pair that with the touchscreen and menus, as well as the BMPCC4k's monitor settings, and you have a great little screen to use.


It came with a mini-HDMI to fullsize HDMI, so be prepared to supply your own cable. There is a noticable delay between action and screen, but it's workable. The included cold shoe arm is all metal, except for the locking system to hold the monitor, which is plastic.

The biggest sacrifices with this one is durability and delay. Otherwise, great bang for the buck.

Recomiendo que adquieran el Porta Brace Soft padded pouch for 5 to 5.7 monitors para transportar este monitor. [Aluminum] Everything works great. I really like the menu navigation and quick menu features that are missing in my F5. Battery usage even seems good. It struggles in bright sunlight, but I got by using the included hood. I would not purchase this if I was shooting outdoors a great deal. If you are shooting indoors most of the time, this should work well. I have not had it for a long time, so I can not speak to long-term durability, but for a light plastic field monitor, it doesn't feel flimsy by any stretch.
